Artanis Séregon
This is the home of the elves, buried deep within Sandhirahn Forest. Its name means "Nature's Solitude" and the elven sanctuary is fiercely protected by its inhabitants. Visitors of all races are welcomed and treated graciously, but are watched closely and never truly considered one of their own. Although their existence is rather tribal-like, the elves of Artanis Séregon are vastly intelligent and very scholarly. They live in tree homes high up in the branches of the tallest, oldest trees in the forest, but they've built around the trees, rather than cutting the trees to suit them, so there's often branches running up and through the elven homes, which the elves are perfectly at peace with. All the tree buildings are connected by rope bridges that run between the trees. Some elves live on the ground, though, in huts built around the bases of trees.

Closer to the outskirts of Sandhirahn Forest, near the main human village, the gnomes have decided to settle. Of course, the gnome village looks nothing like any sort of settlement at all. In between sparser trees and in clearings are low, rolling hills that look like they've been pushed up from underground, which is exactly what the gnomes have done, making their homes underneath these hills in cozy burrows. As primitive as these dug-outs may seem, many of the gnomes have quite elaborate homes underneath these hills, with several rooms and furniture. Many of the homes have tunnels leading to each other so neighbours can come and go as they please. The gnome community is very fun-loving and familial; tight-knit, but inviting and good-natured towards visitors. Just don't be surprised to have a few practical jokes played on you during your stay there.

The Wilderness
This area encompasses all the wild, uninhabitated places of Sandhirahn Forest. While the gnome and elven communities are relatively safe from danger, not all of Sandhirahn Forest is safe and wild animals and monsters of all sorts lurk within the depths of the trees. This is a popular spot for adventurers to roam.

Sandhirahn River
This large, flowing river runs from the outskirts of Mapleshore all the way to the depths of Artanis Seregon where it empties into a massive, beautiful lake. It is home to many water nymphs and other aquatic species. Aquatic races, feel free to make your homes here.
