Your first character profile must be approved by a staff member before it is accepted into the roleplay! Please post your first character profile in the Character Registrations board to await approval by a staff member. Please be patient and do not nag the staff. We try to see to all profiles as quickly as we can, but we are human and we do have other responsibilities, both online and offline.

Once your profile has been accepted, it will be moved to the Character Profiles board and you may begin roleplaying with that character. Only your first character needs to be accepted. After you've had one character accepted, you can post future character profiles directly in the Character Profiles board yourself without it needing to be approved.

If you submit a profile and a staff member tells you it needs adjustments, please do not argue. Of course, asking questions if you're confused about how to improve your profile is welcomed, but please do not be rude to the staff.

The staff will not look at a profile until it is labeled as being complete. Please put [ COMPLETE ] in the subtitle of your profile once you're ready to have a staff member look at it. If you're still working on your profile and do not want the staff to look at it, yet, please put [ WIP ] in the subtitle and we will leave it alone until we see that you've changed the status to [ COMPLETE ].

An insufficient profile will be sent back to be revised three times before being rejected altogether, so if you don't do a thorough job the first time, no worries. You still have two more tries. Once a profile has been rejected, we ask that you wait a minimum of two months before resubmitting a profile.

This is the template you should use for your profiles. A [*] symbol before a field means that that field is optional. All unmarked fields are mandatory.

[*]Name Meaning: What does your character's name mean? What's its significance?
[*]Pronunciation: This is highly recommended if your character has a name that is difficult to pronounce.
Birthday: We just need this to make sure your character is aging as time goes by. It can be rather general, like "Early/Middle/Late Spring." ToA goes by seasons rather than months.

Magic: Your character can start with up to 5MP, with a few exceptions. Dwarves cannot possess magic, and Half-Elves can only start with 3MP. Please refer to the Magic Guide before filling this out.

Money: Your character can start off with a maximum of 10, 000G
Weapons: Please be sensible. Your character can have basic weapons with basic magical enhancements but they cannot have all-powerful weapons of mass destruction.
Magical Items: Again, be sensible with this.
Companions: Pets? Children? Spouses? Lovers? Sidekicks? Cohorts? Minions? Slaves? You get the idea. Your characters can start out with a maximum of two slaves/cohorts/minions. They cannot command an army of them.
Provisions: Travel stuff, like rations, tents, sleeping bags. This field is important for adventurers.
Other: Absolutely anything else you can think of. Clothes, family heirlooms, pottery, dishes, gifts, etc...
