Angel Set-up, It's how they work.

Angels: Deal with prayers and happenings. They have a filing systems, clunky computers that can't do anything, and they're all stressed. They have the 'burners' (hehe) who are stuck filing out the 'impure' prayers. Imagine what a sixteen year old male would pray concerning females. Guardian Angels are technically here, but are usually on earth. Guarding.

Archangels: Usually deal with humans. Have a cute slot for timecards before they get on the clunky elevator to heaven (which usually jams somewhere about three galaxies away from Earth).

Principalities: As they work with global reform and leadership and extinction, they get nice offices with views of the area they work with. They get all of the mail that's really sent on earth and rewrite it a bit to make things... nicer. (Which explains why politicians never agree.) As of late, however, there have been problems explaining wars and everything.

Virtues: They play dice and board games all the time. There are lots of roleplaying games going on (to control humans), almost like what we're doing.

Powers: They're in the library. It's a huge library that would kill a human to even imagine. Every last word of all history is written in there. They have a few angels that work as messengers when there are wars or anything happening. (They keep a nice catalogue with the prophecies and how history repeats itself to know). Maybe the messengers never make it to the Principalities, explaining the wars.

Dominions: Work with personalities. It's like Santa's workshop, where they use nice computers and download personality types to people after God creates them.

Thrones: Detectives and psychologists. They work in offices and keep files on relationships, which they report to the Dominions to give personality changes so that people interact better.

Seraphim: They're gate guards with a nice lounge. They don't have to work, but just stop bad things from passing into heaven. Maybe they have another filing system like Santa's list.

Now we just have one question left: How do we put people in the levels?

I suppose one of the levels would also decide ranks, promotions and such. I'm guessing everyone has to start out as an angel... and then they can move up through promotions. So, there would be more angels than there are archangels, more archangels than there are Principalities and so on. Sound fairly alright to everyone?

Angels: Start here. Guardians angels are, say, 20 posts and stay on earth. They can stay a guardian angel as long as they want, just be on earth with a human and not rank.

Archangels: 40 posts

Principalities: 70 posts

Virtues: 110 posts

Powers: 160 posts

Dominions: 220 posts

Thrones: 290 posts

Seraphim: 370 or more posts

Have to make it harder to upgrade.

No limit at all, deary, so long as they are killed off instead of forgotten. I gotta make you mod anyway. I like the system you thought up--- brilliant. As/if people start joining and posting more, we may have to up the system.
