skin change - BOOYAH!

i reallly hate this skin snafu we're in, so i'm going to try putting a NEW skin on (note, not one that we had access to before) just to be able to look at something not awful.

i'll be saving all the old skin data in case it screws up too or we want to change back

i might even change back to the old crap just so people trying to help us figure this problem out on the IF forums will see it. it'd be nice to know if we can have a decent skin though


EDIT: well snap, i tried it and it didn't work. i'll keep tinkering.

BOOYAH!

something happened! (set skin to BlueTech if nothing is different)
it's not the old skin, but Egomednog's BlueTech is pretty sweet, imo (note that copyright tags had to be put on, though - if we don't, IF could nix the board without warning, so yeah.....). besides, if we find a different neat skin, we could switch it to that.

(note for other admins: don't touch the board wrapper section, i'll take care of it)


there are obviously a few kinks to work out (tiling of images, problems around the banner), but i'll be working on them.

EDIT: by now, it only looks a bit silly at higher resolutions (e.g. mine), since the tiling occurs near the middle of forum titles and topic titles. i don't mind too much, though, and i don't want to do a fixed width board, so i'm happy with this for now. hats off to Egomednog on the Zathyus forums for this awesome skin.
