Do you know what time it is, do you know what momentous event is approaching the students at Hogwarts? What has got the children’s hopes up even when the teachers give them extra homework and frown at them? Why are they walking around with huge grins on their faces and whispering wit glee in the hallways? Well, if you’re anybody in the Hogwarts castle you will know what’s coming up this Halloween – the Marauders Masquerade. Now being the flashy guys they are, these four couldn’t just have a normal party, no no. They already do that every other night! This one is special, a masquerade theme where everyone dresses up and no one can tell who is who and the drama begins. The Marauders first began this tradition in their fourth year when they had their popularity status firmly in place and the first one was a massive hit, so every Christmas n they pull this fabulous party for everyone to get hyped up about and excited, un knowing to the frowning professors. So every year a month from Christmas the invites go out and people order dresses, costumes and some even have theirs ready! But.. wait. How can they have their annual ball now they’ve been zapped into the future! There the marauders; they’ll have it anyway!

But I know what your thinking, how the hell can they get away with hosting a large, loud and amazing event like that and now get caught? That’s because they hold it at an exclusive venue, one that only the invite holder can get too. The Room Of Requirement. Yep, genius I know. So the party holders set up their and the awaiting guests go down in un suspecting groups or alone and walk up and down the corridor thinking exactly what the invite told them too think. So, that’s how it goes every year and then for a long time afterwards people are talking about the momentous event. Well, apart from a certain group of kids. The Slytherin’s. Gryffindor and Slytherin rivalry has been going on for long before the Marauders entered Hogwarts and will carry on for many years after, so that’s why most of the lovely Slytherin’s wont be invited. Sure, maybe a few select ones that are alright will be invited but most definitely not the ones the Marauders hate. And every year the Slytherin’s have scoffed and looked down their nose at the party, giving snide remarks and saying they wouldn’t even want to go to that wretched party. But this year, they took a very different approach.

This year, they made a plan. A plan to ruin the party and have victory for themselves. Any willing Slytherin’s concocted a plan so good even the marauders would have been impressed. They decided that if they weren’t invited to the party, they would invite themselves! Positions were given out, instructions gone over twice and preparations were perfected. By the end of it all every knew the plan. Two Slytherin girls would distract the Gryffindor’s watching the door whilst two Slytherin guys jumped a few Hufflepuff’s and stole their invites. They Slytherin girls would lead the Gryffindor’s guys away so the Slytherin’s could get into the party in their matching costumes, and spike the punch. The punch would be spiked with a love potion in one punch, and the other with a truth potion. How fun would that be!? Now after that the two Slytherin’s already in there would alert the others too come down now the spiking was done and now the party wrecking can be done. Drama much? And now the present kids have caught on and the marauders have declared all of them invited, what happens when people in costume who should never meet, meet?

So the punch is spiked, the Slytherin are in, the present kids are thrown into the mix and now all chaos has broken out.
Just a normal day at Hogwarts!
