--New Troy | Robert Kane High | Queensland Park Simon Project | St. Martin's Island--
Metro, often dubbed "The Land of Tomorrow" encompasses the mainland-nested half of Echo City, boasting its vast amount of soaring highways, mammoth skyscrapers, and deco environments laced with gold and glossy steel. It is home to the Daily Planet, one of the world's most renowned metropolitan news outlets. The sector is most famous for its scientific prowess and technological achievements, but don't let its successful facade fool you. Hidden beneath Metro's shiny surface is a dangerous and crime-ridden infrastructure.
--Burnley | Coventry | Hamilton Hill Ruins Old Gotham | Tricorner | The Underground--
Take Suicide Slums, have it occupy an island, replace the gangsters with sadists and psychopaths, switch out some of the skyscrapers for smoke-spewing factories, and - presto. Once referred to as "a nightmare built out of metal and stone", Echo City's Gotham Sector has a reputation drenched in cold and darkness much like its gothic architecture. Superstition surrounding this side of town is as thick as the gray pollution blanketing its airspace. The area is notorious for bad luck. It has everyone on edge... except maybe the residents at Arkham Asylum.
--Bristol Township | Exurbs | Laurel State Forest--
Scenarios taking place either off the coast or just outside of the Echo City limits are happening in the Outskirts. The mainland section is a heavily forested territory, is largely mountainous, and is split up by several natural river valleys. There are hiking trails all over the place, but uncharted, uninhabited territories are even more common. Besides a tiny village down south and a spread-out township, there isn't any civilization for miles, so it's a great place to find solace (or serve as a battle zone) if ever needed.
--Locations of Elsewhere--
If it isn't happening in or around Echo City, it's happening here. Elsewhere includes other cities, counties, states, countries... yeah. I'm sure you get the picture. Check inside for a list of suggested locations to give you ideas of what's out there.
General Discussion Take a break from Stormstruck to discuss more important matters - like your favorite type of coffee or why it only rains after you wash your car. After all, we have lives outside of the Internet. Right? RIGHT?
IC/OOC Amusement Are you caught up on thread replies and honestly have nothing better to do? Well, come here and join in on some in and out of character games, or start one yourself. Fair warning: This place is nuts!
Graphics Center Roleplaying is very graphic-based, but maybe you're not so hot at creating such things or you don't have a program like Photoshop to do so. Come in here to make requests for avatars, signatures, banners - whatever you need!
