Without further ado...my lovely bunch of psychos.
Caiman BoatwrightCaiman of District Four is the victor of the 41st Hunger Games. He is a dacryphiliac, which means that he is sexually aroused by tears or the act of crying. After his older brother was killed in the Games, his parents decided that none of their children would ever exhibit that same weakness again. Ever since, they’ve been training him into a ferocious career, one who’s particularly vicious because he’ll do anything to see his opponent cry. Caiman is a cold shell of a boy whose only desire for most of his life was to win the Hunger Games, and now that he's done that, what's left?
Friends: He doesn't have any. Caiman is a jerkface, now more so than ever. I don't actually see him being able to get along with anyone long enough to be friends. He doesn't want inferior people around him, and pretty much everyone is inferior in his mind.
Enemies: Everybody ever. I'm not going to even try to list all the reasons people may hate Caiman, because it would take too long. How many people who are willing to express it, however, may be significantly less. Be warned: if you come at him, your face might get licked.
Lovers: Anything that cries is fair game. Now that he's a victor, Caiman is going to expect a lot more people to be willing to cry for him. Don't disappoint the little weirdo.
Galene the sister impersonator may think that she and Caiman are going to live happily ever after, but she's got another thing coming. Nothing ever ends happily when I'm at the wheel. She means as little to Caiman as seaweed washed up on the beach. Nevertheless, they're linked by mutual crazy, and will be in a "relationship" for however long they can both manage to stay alive.
Current Plots/Plot Ideas: Medicated!Caiman has been released. After attacking two high profile victims in the same week, our dear hero was drugged quite heavily and remains so. He's struggling with his identity, his actions, and all the nonsense he's seen, and it's getting pretty heavy. Maybe someone should get in there, make fun of his silly doped up face, and lighten things up a little. Don't worry -- no more face licking until he stops taking the pills. Once that happens, though, all bets are off.
Rosetta “Flip Tables” TremRosetta is the victor of the 22nd Hunger Games, and is currently a mentor in District One. She suffered physical and emotional abuse as a child, and never really matured emotionally as a result. Her best friend, Beau Gracen, was killed in her Games; his death was staged for her as a revenge, a fact she’s never really gotten over. Nowadays, Rosetta is known as perpetually unstable, known to go off on the drop of a hat, hence her nickname, coined by Cloudy. She always looks impeccable, though, and her looks are the one thing she can’t stand to be compromised.
Friends: Rosetta thinks people who aren’t from career Districts are trash. So those from D1, D2, D4, and the Capitol, step up. Most of her friends – or acquaintances in good standing – are other victors, but she’ll really befriend anyone who holds a position of power or respect.
Enemies: People really think of her as a joke, a novelty, but occasionally there’s a person who just doesn’t like Rosetta for one reason or another. As proven recently, she will try to shank that person. And anyone else who offends her. You have been warned.
Lovers: Rosetta just got divorced, so get at her for some rebound action.
Current Plots/Plot Ideas: None. She just keeps stabbing people and being a giant bitch.
Ren FairfieldRen is the older sister of my tribute character from the 40th Games, Trick Fairfield. She's extremely kind and selfless, though perhaps a little less than intelligent. She deals with all of her problems by cleaning them away, and is endowed with a terrific work ethic. After Trick died, Ren went through a prolonged depression that ended with her running away from District Seven. Since, she's been chilling in the wilderness with some awesome vagabonds doing outdoorsy stuff.
Friends: There will be a lot of these. Ren is shy, but she loves people, and she’s very likable. There aren't a lot of people out in the wild, but she's sure to make friends with whoever she finds.
Enemies: I can’t imagine anyone really having a problem with Ren. She’s too sweet. But if someone did dislike her for whatever reason, it would make her extremely sad.
Lovers: Ren is very much enamored with Rowan Wilde. Being the hopeless romantic that she is, she's totally dedicated to this relationship.
Current Plots/Plot Ideas: Ren is in the wilderness with some vagabonds now; you can check out the plot and the sign up for it
here.
Here is the original ad for the Fairfield family, but they're all dead now except for Anisa, who is an avox.
Artemis YoungbloodArtemis is a rich Capitolite who owns a girl's finishing school and also acts as a sponsor for the Hunger Games. She is married, but her husband has been on life support for nearly a decade; she refuses to take him off because his children will inherit all of his money instead of her. Needless to say, Artemis is one cold bitch. She manipulates people like it's nothing, rarely becomes angry, and craves power and domination. A sexual deviant, in a sense, she prefers younger men --
much younger men. She has been known to prowl the young victors for fresh prey. To win her sponsorship, expect to do things you aren't proud of.
Friends: None. If anything, Artemis would have associates. Teachers she has hired at her school, other sponsors, victors, stylists and escorts, etc.
Enemies: Many and varied. Artemis has made countless foes throughout her life. Those she has seduced usually remain loyal to her, but that's about it. The girls who attend her school hate her, her "associates: probably hate her, and the public at large probably isn't her biggest fan either.
Lovers: If you've got a young, vulnerable male character, boom. Artemis. She prefers victors nowadays, but she'll take what she can get.
Current Plots/Plot Ideas: If I send you an Artemis donation and you win, be prepared for a creepy PM to come. If I don't send you an Artemis donation, you win, and your character is an attractive male, still expect a PM. ;D
Mercedes MiataMercedes is a District Six citizen. Officially, he's a healer, and a good one at that. He goes above and beyond the call of duty to cure people of their ailments, offer beds and food to the homeless, and appear poor, humble, and harmless. In reality, he's a manipulative sociopath who runs a drug ring and whores out addicts for the pure purpose of profit. Other humans are mere vehicles for his will, if somewhat unreliable ones. He's very capable of hiding his violent personality -- if you ever see it and you're not one of his lackeys, then you're probably nearing the end of your life. Mercy never makes the kill, however -- he only gives the orders.
Friends: People like Mercedes don't have friends. They have associates, or in his case, underlings. That's pretty much it.
Enemies: Everyone. If anyone ever outed him to the public as the drug-smuggling, child-prostituting bastard that he is, his career in badassery is ruined. No-one can be trusted.
Lovers: Mercedes pretty much takes what he wants when he wants it.. If you want to be one of those things, then dandy. Male, female, tall, short, fat, thin...as long as you're up for things getting a little weird, then we're golden.
Current Plots/Plot Ideas: I'd like to have a bunch of lackeys for this dude eventually -- drug-addict kids to smuggle drugs and whore it up, similarly jacked-up adults to do the same, Peacekeepers to help out with the whole smuggling thing, etc. If you want to make a new character or just integrate an existing character into the whole scheme, that would be great.
Mercedes is part of the D6 drug ring subplot. If you'd like to check that out,
here it is.
Winifred CandelaWinnie is a District Five citizen who will most likely be Reaped soonish. She was raised by her mother and her grandmother; no-one knows who her father is. While her mom was off working long hours at ye olde power plant, her grandma babysat and told her fantastical stories about fairies, goblins, sprites, and other such creatures of myth. Winnie took these stories to heart and created a magical adventureland for herself where she's the heroine, aided in quests by her mystical friends. This essentially entails a lot of wandering around the District talking to herself.
Friends: Needless to say, she's not the most popular lass. Winnie is likable, but it's easy to get sick of her fairy babble. Only super nice people need apply.
Enemies: Mean people. People who hate children and happiness and joy. You know.
Lovers: None. She's twelve.
Current Plots/Plot Ideas: Winnie currently has no plots. I think it might be cool to have someone show up and be like "hey, I'm your dad," but this is kind of a half-formed idea thus far. Let me know if you want to contribute.
Hercules DeadnettleHercules is a complicated guy. He grew up in District Eleven with his adoptive parents, all happy and peppy, unaware of his own depressing back story. His father was a Peacekeeper, his mother a pretty field laborer, and together they made a lovely interracial baby. But the girl died shortly after giving birth, leaving the Peacekeeper with no choice but to give his kid up to some random people whom he paid off handsomely. When he got older, Hercules figured out two facts: it wasn't fair that his family had so much while everyone else starved, and that Mr. and Mrs. Deadnettle were
not his real parents. He started doing the whole "stealing from the rich and giving to the poor" thing with his zany friends, but then things went awry. Herc ended up running away to the wilderness, then to District Twelve, but Peacekeeper dad followed him and ruined that plan. Now, he's wandering around in the wilderness again, hoping to find something to do with his life.
Friends: Hercules is a super nice guy. He's got all those morals and whatnot. He usually finds it easy to make friends; if someone doesn't want to be his friend, then he aggressively smiles at them until they change their mind.
Enemies: The Capitol. People who live through unfair means. Peacekeepers. Authority figures get him all fired up.
Lovers: When Hercules last saw his most recent girlfriend, she was being violently electrocuted, so he's probably not entirely excited about love right now. Maybe sometime in the future something will crop up.
Current Plots/Plot Ideas: Hercules will soon be involved with the rebel subplot, the sign-ups for which are
here. I also have an ad up for crazy Peacekeeper dad, which goes a little more in depth with this story. It can be located
here.
Anisa BlackthornAnisa is Trick and Ren's oldest sister. In District Seven, she had a husband, two children, and a career as a healer. She helped her mother raise her seven younger siblings as well, so she's fiercely maternal and very no-nonsense. Anisa was arrested with the rest of the Fairfields for withholding information about Ren's disappearance. Once they got to the Capitol, they were tortured and systematically wiped out one by one except for Lenna, the mother, and Anisa. Lenna is still in a holding cell somewhere, while lucky Anisa is an Avox. Her unfortunately named husband's whereabouts are not known. Since becoming an Avox, she's been bounced from place to place until she finally ended up at the training center. Whether or not her last boss pulled some strings to get her there because he was an okay guy and she asked him to is debatable, but Anisa's not talking.
Friends: Anisa is willful. She will communicate with you even without her tongue. She will be your friend. She will give you hugs, bake you pie, and examine all your physical ailments. There is no refusing.
Enemies: Everybody. Nobody likes an Avox. They're creepy.
Lovers: Anisa is still firmly devoted to her husband, whether he be dead or alive, in captivity or free.
Current Plots/Plot Ideas: I have no concrete ideas, but I'd like to see her thread with the District Seven tributes next Games. She'll be all empathetic and give them a lot of emphatic hand gestures. This character could go any which way. I can't see her leaving the Capitol until she knows for sure that her husband isn't coming back, but who knows. Anything can happen. -mystical jazz hands-
