Morgan walked into the Library, he hadn't been here in so long. He had spent the past 5 years looking for Tethys across the country and frankly, he was starting to lose hope that he would ever see her again.
As he walked among the tables he sat down in the same spot he, Tethys and Cassie had sat down in, so many years ago. He still remembered the times he had with them. Now he was being sought out by some new faction simply because he was human. Sometimes he wondered if it would just be easier to let himself be killed.

Teth felt lost. She's been living on her own for a while. Cassie told her that Morgan died. Teth never accepted it. she tried to just forget about. she tried to make herself think that he was simply on a long trip. Teth stopped hanging out with Cassie because of Cass's new friends. Something about her changed. Cass just wasnt the same. Teth had settled for hanging out by herself. other than when she was working or shopping she hardly left her little loft. she couldnt wrap her mind around Morgan being gone and Cassie moving on from their life long friendship.
Teth walked to the Library. she had a late start to her day and she needed to do some research for school but didnt know where to begin. her mind was somewhere other than her school work. she didnt know what to do. she never even got a chance to date Morgan without any drama or anything. not even with drama... she never got a chance to be with him. it wasnt fair. she went and sat at one of the tables and laid her head in her hands. her training allowed her to make a block so she didnt hear anyone's thoughts but it still gave her headaches.

~Morgan~
As Morgan sat there, oblivious to the world, he thought back on all the times he and Tethys had shared as friends and thought about all the times they could have had, times that were taken away form them.
In frustration he slammed his fists down on the same desk he had sat at five years ago. In his head images of Tethys flashed in his head, almost like it was taunting him. He didn't want to believe it, he had tried everything he could to escape even the idea of it. But the only thing he could think was that she was dead. DAMMIT!!! DAMMIT!!! DAMMIT!!! he screamed in his head.

Even with Teth's block most thoughts get through anyway. most people think in words rather than pictures so it was rare that she would get pictures from people's thoughts. as she was sitting in the library after she heard a loud slam her focus on the block fell and then the thoughts of everyone around her came rushing in at once. someone's thoughts stuck out in particular. pictures... of her... of her from Morgan's point of view. at first she thought they were her memories from reading Morgans thoughts but they were a lot more vivid than her own thoughts.
she looked around and felt like she had officially gone crazy. now she was imagining Morgan in the library at their chosen table from back in the day. she stood up and walked over to that table and sat down. she stared at her hallucination feeling crazier than she had before. "This has to stop." she said thinking of how many times she had dreamed of seeing Morgan again. she hit her head on the table trying to see if she was asleep or not... she wasnt. she was wide awake.... she looked up slowly. thinking that he was suppose to be dead. "you're suppose to be dead." she said looking at him. she didnt care if everyone around didnt see him she had to talk to it.

~Morgan~
Morgan heard a slam on the desk in front of him which dragged him out of his thoughts. As he looked up he felt a mixture of emotion, shock, joy, disbelief. His eyes widened and his jaw fell open slightly. He was unable to say anything, he slowly raised a fist and punched himself in the face, when he looked back, she was still there.
"Te...Tethys....I....for five years....I....looked for you....I looked everywhere...I scoured this damn country....until, I was beginning to think the same of you." he said, still in disbelief, but frankly he didn't care whether this was real or not, if it wasn't slipping into madness wouldn't be so bad.

Teth just sat there looking at the fake Morgan. she was still blocking out the thoughts from her head. she was getting better at it. her headache wasnt even hurting as much as it would have been normally. She stared at him thinking to herself: For once I didnt imagine such an... out of shape Morgan. normally she pictured either: The morgan she saw last or a better Morgan, almost god-like. but stilling there looking at that Morgan... she was just desperate for any kind of Morgan. "Cassie told me that you went looking for me... she said you died somewhere in like California or something..." Teth rested her head on her hands, still looking at Morgan. she wished that morgan didnt actually die.

Morgan frowned slightly, why would Cassie say that? They were friends weren't they? "I didn't die, I was looking everywhere for you..." he said beginning to wonder if he had gone insane. He had to know if this was a hallucination because it certainly wasn't a dream.
Almost out of desperation he got up walked around the table and dived at where Tethys was, knocking her off the chair, to his surprise he felt the connection as he fell to the ground. A look of unbridled joy smeared itself across his face "Your real...your really here. I finally found you!!!" he said loudly, laughing deliriously. He was overjoyed to know he had finally found Tethys again and he made no effort to conceal the fact.

Teth laid there on the floor with him. she was in complete shock. Why... how? no. he was suppose to be dead. Cassie said he was dead! Why wasnt he dead?! of course she was happy that he wasnt actually dead but she was confused. "Cassie said you were dead!" she said finally standing up. why did Cassie lie? that's so rude! they were friends! thats not fair. "I mean I'm so glad you're not.." she said kneeling down next to him. "But why would Cassie lie like that?" With all the confusion and everything Teth had forgot to block the thoughts out. she could hear Morgan's excited thoughts of her being alive, she could hear the librarian thinking that they were being too loud. she heard everything. Maybe Teth shouldn't have learned to block the thoughts. she should have searched Cassie's thoughts about the whole Morgan thing. then she would have known that she was lying.
Teth ran a hand through her hair. she was thinking too hard. she just wanted to know why. she was thinking so hard that she forgot to be happy that Morgan was actually there. he was real. he wasnt just her imagination. he was alive and there with her.

Morgan frowned a little "I'm not sure why she would do that either. But I'm sure she felt she had a good enough reason. We are friends after all" he said honestly, he had been away from Bayville for a long time and he still cared for his friends greatly.
But for now he didn't really care "But that can wait, I'm so glad I finally found you again!!!" he said again, diving at her in a hug again. He may be being a little rough but he was too happy to care, or notice.

Teth was just as glad as Morgan was to be reunited. she forgot what it was like to be around him. she was a little preoccupied about the whole thing with Cassie. As Morgan hugged her she thought of the last time they were together. it wasnt exactly on good terms. the last time they were together she had told him about her powers then she was kidnapped. she didnt want to bring that up just in case he actually forgotten about what she had said.
she smiled hugging him back even tighter not wanting to let him go. "I'm really glad you're back too." she sighed happily. she was glad he was back. she missed him so much and to have him back meant so much to her. she put up the walls to block the thought of the people around and pushed back her thoughts that could possibly ruin the moment for them.
