The "temporary (Or very permanent) absences" topic, Everyone needs to get together again!

Okay, for the most part, few people are coming to club. It's usually just the group of:
Raz
John
KP
Neko
Koga
Sarah (Obviously)
Twilight (as of late)
and on occasion, Yuki, himi, Wasabi, pip, Michelle and Candice
And even rarer, Jessie
The rest don't really hang out any more. What gives?
Vash, Lust, Amber, Fred, Zetsu, adam and almost none of the older members. Is it just scheduling problems, or is it that you guys don't really wanna hang out? It's nice and quiet now that there's a more manageable amount of people in one room, but still it'd be nice to hang out. Preferably at Club, but it's nice to get people together outside of the club and raz's house, too (Where there's less of a chance of something getting broken ) If it's transport that's a problem, I'm working on driving again, and when I get a job, I can get a minivan (not like my mom's using the old plymouth).
We could:
Go to the beach
Got to the arcade on Ridge road (it's free to get in <()> Yay)
Go to the mall
Go to BAM!
Go to the moon (We can do it if we try!)
Go to the Park
Nobody's really hanging out anymore. It's nice having the small group of friends that I normally hang out with, but new faces never hurt. I know, I know, there's a sun to get in the way of everything with it's awful burny light and heat. But it's not that bad, really. Just keep to the shade or something.

(On a side note, I'm actually gonna be limiting my contact with people for a week or so, because I REEEEAAALLLY need to get some school work done if I don't wanna fail. But after that, I'm back in full force XD )

1: I'm Going to Iraq this month, so you have a club to go to.

But no, I DO take my military job seriously and I DO this so you don't have to. I'll make a habit of coming to club when I'm in the country, or even in FL for that matter.

2: I've been in California for the last month training to make fact one possible.

Don't need to be so defensive there Vash, ne? ^^; John just put out a very general and honest call to old members and people we haven't had a chance to see or hang out with any more. We totally appreciate the importance of your job so no need for sarcasm. We just miss some of our friends.

The last time I saw you you were a little drunk, we were doing the karaoke lip synching thing and it was before you left the first time. T_T

Now that you pointed it out, yeah we haven't seen most of the other people you listed there, John, as much anymore. It's a good idea to check up on some of them and still see if they want to come to club or just hang out sometimes. OH and John with transportation? That's fabulous to hear. My anime people are growing up *tear* ^o^

Believe it or not, there are even older past anime club members way before you guys showed up that have since moved on. It just keeps evolving, that's how it works I think.

I know I havent really been there.
School has been eating me alive.
And Senior project is taking most of my time.
My knowledge of the schedule has been completely
whacked so even if I do have a free weekend I have no clue
if we have club or not. And I never get invited anywhere when you guys do hang outside of club. Like to Raz's and what not.
And I've learned to just deal with that. So if you wanna hang with me you gotta let me know. Fricken ayee all you have to do is call me. If you want/need my number message me

"Yeah, it happens, people get older and branch out, try new things go to different jobs etc. Just asking where people are isn't enough; when's the last time we actually took accountability at club? For that matter, have we ever takin' a roll call to see what other people are doing? If they are interested in club activities, I believe they'll show, but if something else is occupying their time then, we kind of have to let it be. Getting on the horn and communicating to see what others are doing is one, essential and two, worth it to say: "Hey man you, alive or what?"
I guess the whole point is, they'll be there when they can be, and want to be. As for me pesonally I moved mainly b/c of a job opportunity, Hopefully, I'll see you guys sometime in OCT09!!

lol as for me, sorry john i've been in TN for the past 6 months, i just got back to FL a couple weeks ago and my days have been booked with job hunting and interviews and my nights have been booked with parties and heavy drinking (dont do it kids im not a good influence). but I think things r starting to settle down a bit so i will probably make an appearance if ur lucky lol ^^ if not I will more than likely be at jacon, though i doubt ill be cosplaying because i spend all my money on my 4 younger brothers nowadays lol <3 btw i have two identical 16 yr old twin brothers hahahahahaha im trying to convince them to cosplay as hikaru/kaoru hahahahahahahaha!

I haven't seen this much posting for a while!?!! I'll definitely be dropping by between deployments. As for being defensive, yeah I know I'll be more mellow as this stuff goes on (deployment). I really do miss you guys alot!!!

as for not showing up to club, i've had my reasons.
1) i've been excercising/doing parkour with people
2) i can't really breathe too well in Star's house since it smells like animals all the time.
3) i've been stressed and busy with wedding plans and all the crap that goes with it.
4) i don't actually enjoy watching anime in a big group (not that i like big groups in the first place)

anyway, if anyone wants to do anything with me, they can call. plenty of people have my number (at least the ones i don't mind having it) and i'm usually up for anything as i don't have a job at the moment. i'd really like it if people called when they're doing stuff too.

Well, as of late it just seems like I can't get in contact with anyone. I need to find my list of numbers again. Better yet, I need a cell phone, so I can save the numbers.... ;P
And THEN I need a laser gun. A big one.
Jessie: I can understand the not liking big groups thing. That's why I tend to hang out with only a few at a time.
I hate large groups, but it's okay at club.

No Lust, Kittypon must not be corrupted further! But wow I never knew you had twin brothers. Making them cosplay would be awesome. I think it's the reason why Midnite wants twin boys so bad... so she can raise them like Hikaru and Kaoru

John~ I don't know. I suppose the craziness gives a weird season to my life. I just sit back and be mildly amused. Sometimes small doses are good. I don't think it's a terrible thing that anime nights have shrunk on average. I think we've been better at actually watching anime again.
