Chapter1

A long time ago there was a great swordsman he was one of the most feared, and powerful, among all of human kind. He had a special gift inside him a gift of elements, and other mysterious powers, he was tuff and emotionless yet he was smart in battle and never lost with his grace, beauty and strange of his sword. He and his five comrades, one was the magic user, an illusions master, the mistress of time and space, a pure angel and the son of the demon lord all fought against the great demon lord Fudo. The battle was tuff many people died in the great battle and so many suffered a great lost. Some were loved ones some were there homes but when the Swordsman came with his comrades they fainlly put a stop to lord Fudo’s wicked ways by joining all there powers into one and sealing him in a scroll then the swordsman throw it in a great pit of fire and there it stayed and light shined down on there plant once again. Time pasted and the swordsman fell in love with women that melted his cold heart and he and his comrades went there separate ways. He eventually married this woman and had a family together. They moved into a small hut in a small village were they had one son and a daughter. Both were very beautiful and there for once in his life the swordsman felt peaceful and happy with his life and his family but soon this peaceful feeling will soon fade because unknown to the swordsman and his family great darkness will soon fall upon the world once more and its going to take more then his own powers to stop it. Now came a time for the next generation to fight the darkness within this world or maybe they will bring great distortion upon all.

A great noise was hard from the small hut of the swordsman’s and his wife, He immediately got up fast and looked around the small hut by now his kids were six and eight both sleeping together on a small mat with a brown rip up blanket on them, the girl had long dark brown hair much like her mom’s who had long black hair but hers was tied in a high pony tail as the boy had short light brown hair much like his own but his was longer in a low pony tail. He got up from his small bed and looked around out side with his amber eyes, all was quit a bit too quit he didn’t like the fact that he couldn’t her the crickets chirp there lovely song. He put his hand on the hilt of his sword looking around in the deep green forest that was outside there home.

“Daddy? What are you doing out here so late at night”. Came a soft voice of his daughter.

“Its nothing at all Lian go back to bed”. He told her giving her a reassuring look that all was well.

“Ok don’t stay up too late”. She smiled at him and went back to bed.

He sighed softly as a soft breeze came by blowing his hair out of his face reveling a scar across his left eye. He took his hand away from the hilt of his sword and was about to go in until he herd something in the trees. He looked up at the trees very carefully. To see a man with white hair wearing a rich suit with a black tie around his neck reveling a bit of his chest, with black pants. He could clearly see two cat ears and a white tail. The strange man jumped out of the tree in front of him with a grin on his face.

“Who are you and what do you want”? The swordsman asked very seriously.

“So you the great Swordsman Toshiro. I am Kano, I’ve herd you’ve gone soft in your days so I came here to find out for myself”. He told him with a smirk on his face that made Toshiro feel uneasy.

“Listen demon I’m not going to play games with you just leave now and I will not kill you”. He told him knowing for a fact that this will not work. He got ready to take his sword out. He glared deep into Kano’s Aqua eyes that seem to shin in the moon light.

“Oh will see about that”. He smiled and leaped into the air right over Toshiro head and went into his small hut were his family was sleeping peacefully.

“Damn it”. He said with anger as he quickly went into his hut. He looked around with his amber eyes but there was no sign of Kano anywhere. He looked over at his wife who was still fast asleep, and then he looked over at his kids and noticed something that both of his kids were gone from there small mats. Toshiro was in shock as his hut started to go on fire everywhere he saw, was flames. His wife woke up in a panic.

“What’s going on”? She asked very scared as her light blue kimono shined by the bight flames that were closing in on them.

“Don’t worry Suma everything will be alright”. He told her picking her up and jumping out a near by window just when the hut caved in.

“What’s going on were are my children”? She asked still a bit shaken up from everything.

“I wish I knew”. He frowned looking at his once home now in ruins.

“What do you mean you wish you knew don’t tell me they were gone before we got out of the hut”. She shouted a little angry know but still sounded sad.

“I think a cat demon took them”. He told her looking up at the sky.

“A demon took my kids”. She aid shocked tears overflowed as she began to cry.

“Don’t worry Suma. I swear I’ll find them and bring them back to you”. He told her whipping away some of the tears and lifting her chin up so her dark brown eyes were looking into his amber eyes.

“I know you’ll find them but don’t think you’re going off on your own I’m coming with you”. She told him with a slit smile on her face but her eyes still looked sad.

“Very well”. He said and both of them started to walk into the forest.

That was ten years ago and now, we see a young girl in her teens walking the streets of a town. She had a dark pink phrasal umbrella with flower pattern on over her right shoulder, wearing a dark pink, with flower pattern kimono matching her umbrella, that in front came up to her knees but in the back went all the way to the ground, with wooden sandals. Her hair with in a bun with matching sticks that crossed over one another that had gold hanging down from it. Her amber eyes scanned the buildings. She looked in each room as if looking for someone a piece of paper was in her hand with a man’s face on it. It said

Wanted dead or alive with a bounty of thirty thousand and, his face look old and ruff with a scar on his right arm. She sighed softy as wind blows some of the hair out of her eyes. She walked in a bar and closed her phrasal umbrella and tuck in under her arm as she walked in. She scanned the room quickly as she walked in and sat at the bar.

The bar tender walked up to her, he was a well looking man he had black hair that looked a bit messed up as some of his hair went in his face, wearing his bar tending cloths. He looked at her with his dark eyes almost as if they were black looking into her soul.

“Can I get you anything”? He asked with his deep voice.

“Just some green tea”. She told him looking to the side as she stopped the man she was looking for. He was in the corner of the bar talking to some guys that looked like thugs.

“I’ve never seen you around here before are you here on vacation or something”? The bar tender asked placing a cup of hot green tea in front of her.

“Well I’m here only for business”. She told him taken a sip of her drink.

“Oh I see. I never seen anyone dress like you are you rich”? He asked looking at her with a smile.

“Me no I’m not rich or anything I’m just a poor girl trying to get by”. She told him looking to the side.

“Oh so what do you do if you don’t mind me asking”. He asked looking at her.

She looked at him then looked into her cup of green tea.

“Well, I Writ”. She told him looking down.

“Oh will that’s good there not many who can do that”. He smiled at her.

“Why do you ask so many questions”? She asked him looking into his eyes.

“I just curious. You didn’t have to answer all my questions”. He smiled at her looking back in her eyes.

“I guess your right”. She sighed taken another sip of her tea.

“Can I ask you one more question”? He asked refilling her drink.

“Sure ask away”. She told him keeping an eye on the man.

“What is your name”? He asked looking at her then at the man and back at her.

“My name is Lian”. She told him looking serious.

“Lian what a pretty name”. He smiled at her. As the man got up from his spot and started to walk out the door.

“Well it was nice talking with you. Umm I didn’t catch your name”. She said started to get up putting some money on the table.

“They call me Ryu”. He told her with a smile.

“Well it was nice talking to you Ryu”. She told him then walking out of the bar. She opened up her phrasal umbrella and put back on her right shoulder and followed the man.

She stayed far enough away that he thought he wasn’t being followed. He made a sharp turn in an ally way, she put her back to the wall and looked over to were he turned. When she looked she saw that no one was there. She then walked in the ally way like nothing happened keeping her cool and twirling her phrasal umbrella. She did this when she was bored; she walked down the ally way when he jumped down in front of her.

“Hold it right there little missy”. He sneered as he took out a dagger from in side his kimono.

“So you must be Toyo Umeko. There a lot of money on your head”. Lian smiled as she continued to twirl her phrasal umbrella.

“So you’re a bounty hunter. I knew it. Will you ant getting me with out a fight”! He shouted as he lunged at her. She smiled as she took out her sword from her phrasal umbrella witch by cutting him in half. A rain of blood came down. She simply put her umbrella over her head so she didn’t get any blood on her.

“Opp’s I didn’t mean to kill him. Looks like my hidden weapon really took him by surprise”. She sighed as she spins her umbrella with incredible speed cleaning all the blood off it and sheathing her sword back in it.

“My, my must be some story your Writing there’. Came the voice of Ryu who came down in front of her with the same smile on his face. Lian looked shocked that the bar tender was there and not only that but he saw her kill this man and use her secret weapon, but he seemed different he wasn’t wearing his bar tending cloths he was wearing a navy blue boy’s kimono with a black sheathed sword on his waste. His dark eyes looked at her and he saw her expression on her face that told him all. Lian was in shock to speak she couldn’t even move this was the first time that anyone caught her off guard.

“You must be wondering why I’m here”. He smiled and throws a piece of paper at her. She looked down at it with her amber eyes. To see the same man that she just killed.

“So you’re a bounty hunter too”. She said getting over her shock.

“No. you miss understand I’m an assassin. I was sent to kill Toyo Umeko one of the war leader’s sons”. Ryu replied with a smile staring at her.

“You’re an assassin. Well sorry I already killed him and now if you excurse me I’ll be taken his body”. She told him getting ready to take half of Toyo body but Ryu throw a kunai at her she pulled her hand away just when it was about to hit her hand. She glared up at Ryu with anger in her amber eyes.

“Sorry dear Lian but I need that body as proof that his dead”. He told her with a smile.

“Well too bad this is my bounty and I’m not given it up” She growled at him with anger.

“I see too bad your really pretty I was hoping you would just forget about his bounty but I guess that’s too much to ask for. Oh well”. He sighed as he unsheathed his sword. The sword looked like a black flame with all its wavy shapes on it. It didn’t look like it would fit in his sheath at all. Lian got ready by putting her hand on the hilt of her umbrella, she glared at him. He just smiled and disappeared in a blink of an eye. She looked around fast and dodged his attack just in time. He hit the ground and a big crater was there. She stood there looking at him then she took her umbrella and closed it up pointing it at him and a big blast of bullets shoot at him. Many hitting the ground making small holes in it, one hit him in the arm. He screamed in pain as he held his bleeding arm.

“Sorry I should have warned you that if even one of my bullets hit you the pain is indescribable”. She smiled as she got ready to shoot him again.

“Oh I see. So I shouldn’t hold anything back then”. He said as he ran at her with speed just as she shot at him. She was in shock as he came be hide so fast landing a hit on her back. She fell to the ground in pain.

“Damn it”. She said as she got back up.

“Had enough”? He asked smiling at her holding his sword towards her.

“You wish”. She sneered as she unsheathed her sword and ran at him so fast that he couldn’t keep up with her. She cut him on the chest. He kneeled down and put his unhurt hand on his wound.

“So had enough”? She asked taunting him with a smirk on her face.

“Is that all you got because if that is I’m afraid you won’t last very long”. He told her as he got up pointing the blade of his sword upward. Lian looked at him oddly now very anger and confused, just then his sword had black flames around it and Lian could of sworn that she saw a dragon around the blade. He then jumped in the air making black flames go around him. Lian got ready by opening her umbrella and going under it protecting her from some of the flames but she got bunt on the leg. She went on the ground in pain as it started to burn her flash.

“What the hell it won’t stop burning”. She muttered as she could no longer feel her leg.

“Sorry I had to do that but you won’t be able to feel that leg for a while now be a good girl and try not to get in my way”. He told her as he sheeted his sword and walked over to the body I don’t think so she said as she got up and charged at him with speed taken out her sword and was about to cut him when she saw a man standing a few feet away from them calling her name he had the same eyes as her. She stopped dead as she looked at the man just when Ryu hit her hard in the stomach. She dropped her sword as she fell into the ground and unconsciousness took over as she saw nothing but darkness.
