Yes, I know it doesn't come out until July 21. But hey, we can get a prediction/conspiracy/wild-theory discussion going, can't we?

I can't wait until it comes out.

...To be honest, the book made me cry because of all the deaths.

...But my Wormtail-saves-Harry theory came true. ^^

I haven't read it but I read the summary on Wiki.

Yeah corny ending but I guess I saw it coming. Harry Potter to me isn't the well written masterpiece that gajillions of people think is awesome.

...>.< I admit, Harry Potter isn't the best book I've ever read, but it's somewhere up there in my top five favorites. But the plot at its roots is really good, if a bit cliched.

I liked the first three, with the third probably being my favorite of the series even if I think there are definitely much better fantasy writers than Rowling. The first three were a lot more fun than the angsty melodrama written now revolving around Voldemort. But probably what makes the book from what I've read on Wiki sound really disappointing is Snape's inclusion and the epilogue.

SPOILERS

Snape is actually probably my favorite character in the series. His handling in this book is pretty disappointing if his death is, I Voldemort need to kill him to kill him from the story I mean get this wand's power from him. And his motivation is his love for Lily. Which is pretty disappointing.

And then there's the epilogue. Everyone marries somebody that we know. And have kids. I mean, what kind of name is Albus Severus?

Aha, i agree with you about the epilogue. Pretty corny, eh?

I loved this book, i really did. It was probably one of my favorites from the whole series because, hey, say what you will, but J. K. Rowling writes great action scenes.

And, having said that, of course all my favorite characters died. T_______T Remus, Sirius, Snape, Fred. The only oneS who survived were Draco and George. *sob* And i wished she'd given us some more story on what George did after his twin's death.

Although i have to say, i called most of the deaths. Like, 5 months ago i wrote down who i thought were going to die. Mad-Eye, Lupin, Neville, Luna, Snape, Draco, Voldemort, Tonks. And while id didn't call a specific twin's death, i thought either one or both would die.

So you end up watching chances fade,
And wondering what's real.
So I'll give you just a little while,
I wonder if you realize,
I've been waiting to see it in your eyes.

I agree, Snape's motivation is definitely...well, unoriginal. But it does explain a lot of things, looking back at the series as a whole.

I love how Harry didn't angst about those fifty Hogwarts peoples' deaths--including Fred's, Lupin's, and Tonks'--but totally lost his head over Dumbledore's. Jaded, much?

One last thing: They never stated who Draco was married to. Which means obsessive fangirl writers are gonna have a field day. We can only pray for the best.

Spoilers Ahead.

It was saddening that Tonks and Lupin had to die, they just had a baby too! But I was also teared up over the death of Fred, and Percy's reaction to it. It was written extremely well. As was the whole book.

I like the fact that Harry himself didn't kill Voldemort, it was his own ignorance that killed him in the end.

Neville love! XD

You know who else i love? Lucius. He has such pretty hair in the movies....and i've always been such a sucker for pretty hair. Hence Karasu.

And i actually had something else i wanted to say...oh yeah! I got into a mini-argument with my mom about my apparent love for the evil characters, that is to say, Draco. (She doesn't know about the others. XD) Anyways, and she was talking about how evil he was and all...and how much he liked to hurt people, how could i like someone like that, etc. etc., but what the conversation made me really think about was the so-called 'evil' characters like Draco. Ironic, really- Voldemort forces Draco to Crucio people and it leaves him looking 'gaunt, petrified', and Harry Crucios people without thinking too much about it. I thought that was interesting.

Well, actually, the only time Harry produced an effective Cruciatus Curse was when he was fueled by anger against...Alecto? his sister? or something. And so, I guess that sort of justifies it--the "hey, I used it against a Death Eater, okay?" thing.

DRACO IS MISUNDERSTOOD. (Which, in turn, makes him stereotypically emo. *snickers*) End of story.

"Fight! Fight for brave master Regulus!" XD House-elf appreciation moment.

Yes but...earlier in the books, when Harry had the chance to use it on Bellatrix, he was all 'I CANNOT DO IT I AM TOO GOOD. PLUS I DON'T KNOW HOW.'

I just thought it was stupid.^^

I loved the scene where Lupin was trying to defuse the situation by scurrying around trying to show people Teddy's baby pictures.

Oh, yeah. Way to break the awkward moment. And Fleur's all like, "Wow! Haha! No tension at all!" XD

Harry's personality changes drastically during this book because the environment and conditions are so different. Life under Voldemort's reign really, REALLY opened his eyes and MADE him see that it was life or death. Sort of like a major reality check.

And really, when he was fighting Bellatrix that time, he was an emotional wreck and hadn't really processed Sirius' death. He was being blind and stupid and NUMB, rather than angry.

*shifty eyes* I know...but...I love Draco! Which i am just sane enough to realise isn't the rational way to win an argument or do much of anything, but i'm also fangirl enough not to care! Wo0t!

So....i was talking with my friend earlier about Alan Rickman's (the guy who plays Snape) mad acting skills. I can't wait to see him in the 7th movie. <3

...BOYCOTT THE HARRY POTTER MOVIES. I have a thing against book-turned-movies. They just fill people with delusions that don't really appear in the books, and only portray things the way the moviemakers interpret them. (Speaking of...I saw the Eragon trailers a few times before the movie came out...and I could already tell that the book had been brutally slain.)

Anywho...
