BEHOLD, THE MIGHTY RULES!

...Alright, so they're not that mighty. They're the general rules for when your making your charactor, and yes, they're more like guidelines anyway. But NO, that does not mean you can completly disregard them or get very drunk on rum.

1) As stated in our oh-so-lovely rules, you need a real name when you are roleplaying. Lily Evans, Tod Hickembothem, George Jargson. Those are names. hprulz is not a name, although it is entirely true.

2) As a roleplayer, your job is to come up with a very thorough and real charactor. A charactor is not perfect; it has flaws and weaknesses, and that is what makes it thrive. It's very difficult to pin down what roleplaying really is: I like to think of it as several authors writing one story. You yourself are unique in traits and abilities, and thus your charrie should be as well. Mary/Gary-Sues are those annoying things that we don't allow on the board. Kalina and I, and Sofia, will review your charactor, and ask for changes to it periodically if need be. If, somehow we miss something, and it gets onto the board, we will rely on our members to forwarn you.

3) THIS is the application format. No, you cannot just disregard. No, you cannot just add/subtract whatever you feel like. It took quite a while for me to edit that, thank you very much, and I will be most displeased if someone musses it up.
(Kalina would like to add that it took even longer to write it up in the first place, and as such, she'll be even more displeased if it's mussed up)

4) As admins, our job is to help this site flourish, and if you help us, we help you. See how it works? Don't despair if you aren't a class A roleplayer: we all start somewhere and even me and the other Admins have off days. Trust me, you will get there.

5) Just as a general thing, if you select a canon, you still have to write a charactor application. If you don't know much about the charactor, I would advise you not to pick them.
And no, you can't just say "Really hot" in Sirius' looks. (Although I fully concur on that. >.>)

I think that about wraps it up. Happy roleplaying!
