Rules & Regulations

Every site needs these, right? The general rules governing how members of the community are expected to act, as well as some more specific rules regarding the roleplay itself. Essential to know, considering that rule breaking is the road to banland.

School Grounds

At the top of the immense stairway to the DWMA is a large landing in front of the school, a wide open space with small stone fences at the edges for safety purposes. Here is a meeting place for many, as well as a good place to catch a show in the form of a duel every so often.

Hallways

The hallways of the DWMA were deliberately constructed to be mazelike in an effort to train each students' sense of direction. Of course, this usually means there's at least a few people wandering about, lost.

Classrooms

Unlike most high schools, the DWMA's classrooms are often structured in the form of lecture halls with plenty of space at the bottom--necessary for technique demonstrations.

The nurse's office. Fairly standard, minus the fact that it's quaint facility is stocked just as well as the average hospital when it comes to medicine, with better than average equipment in nearby storage. A kind nurse once brightened this room with her smile--then she had to go and set Asura loose.

Just beneath the school is a dungeon, part of which has been refurbished into a slightly more up to date prison. Elsewhere, the dungeon has instead been converted into fairly pleasant, if dim, living quarters for guests. Beneath these, however, is where the Underground truly begins.

Mayweather Bread

A cozy, modern bakery-cafe with a varied seating area ranging anywhere from standard tables and booths to big plushy chairs and couches. The menu? Anything from soups to sandwiches to bakes sweets and more! A casual dining environment clearly geared towards the student or worker needing a place to slow down and relax. The majority of its employees are DWMA students, and the restaurant is owned by the Mayweather Meister siblings.

The Gate

The gate leading into Haven is a large iron affair set into an ancient chest-high wall made of crumbling stone. While the structure is hardly anything that could stop someone from breaking in, the risk of not passing through the gate itself to enter or leave Haven is often too high for most to take a chance on.

Training Grounds

The barren expanse of roughly a hundred yards between the Haven's wall and the actual buildings, commonly used for training purposes, and thus referred to as the Training Grounds. The Abubian Guards train along this stretch of land daily.

The Bazaar

The Bazaar is comparable to Death City’s Marketplace. The Bazaar is a large cobblestone courtyard in haven where witches set up tents, stalls, and rugs, in or on which they sell their goods. Other permanent shopping establishments are scattered throughout the city, as no actual buildings exist in the Bazaar.

Residential District

Despite the name, there is no set "district" the housing for witches is confined to. Rather, they are scattered all throughout Haven. The title "district" comes from how they're almost always found in clusters, which are collectively called the Residential District for ease's sake.

The 10,000 Step Pilgrimage

Known simply as the 10,000 Steps, the Pilgrimage is a long staircase set into the Coven's mountain that must be climbed in order to reach the Sabbath. As most witches fly up, the Anubian Guards are often the only ones on it, due to how they have to make the journey twice a day. For coven witches that cannot fly, there is a small gremlin with a magic carpet to take them to the top. Non-Coven witches, on the other hand, are forced to make the Pilgrimage.
