SolsticeRO Rules, Please take the time to read this.

First of all, allow me to welcome you to SolsticeRO Lowrate. Our staff is comprised of the former staff of CorrosiveRO HR, with the same dedication and work ethic from our previous server. We are pleased to have you all join us as players, and we truly hope you enjoy your time here and can call our server your home.

As with every server though, there are rules and regulations to follow to ensure a friendly, warm player environment. Please carefully read these rules and review them if in doubt.

SolsticeRO Rules and Policies


1. Botting, hacking, and altering the SolsticeRO Game Client will earn you a permanent ban. There are no second chances with this. Dual Clienting has been disabled for a reason on SolsticeRO, to ensure that Priests, Soul Linkers, and other players who prefer playing support classes will be desired and valued, rather than brushed aside by a lazy, dual-clienting player who will level a Lv 30 Soul Linker to link their 90-ish Sin X. As is the norm with other servers, any form of botting, hacking, duping items, will also result in a ban. Don't try to get an edge by cheating.

2. Donating does not make you special. You are still a player and must follow the rules. This is a given. While we appreciate your support of SolsticeRO, a donator is not entitled to any special privileges, priorities, or general treatment. You are still expected to follow the server's rules and policies. Any usage of the words "But I donated" will not be tolerated.

3. NO DRAMA. NO DRAMA. NO DRAMA. Ragnarok Online is a GAME. Games are meant to be fun. It's not fun when you're sparking a soap opera all over the server. Please settle your personal disputes in a civil matter on our server or we will be forced to settle them for you. And if we settle them for you, both parties may be spending some time in jail until they cool their heads.

4. Please do not use Dead Branches or Bloody Branches in low-level areas. While I understand the fun of a challenge, I ask that you do not use either of these items directly outside of towns, such as Prontera. The first time, we will ask nicely. The second time, you will be warned, the third, you will be jailed. Please use discretion and have some consideration for your fellow players. You are free to use Dead Branches in outlying areas. Bloody Branches may only be used outside of Yuno.

5. Player Ban Discussion is not a debate. If you have been reported in Player Ban Discussion, you have twelve(12) hours from the time that the report was posted to respond. If you have been reported in error, please provide proof of your innocence. Above all else, do not flame the person reporting you, and as for the reporters themselves, keep all personal feelings aside(refer to NO DRAMA). If the player has visibly broken a rule, you may report it. If you are doing it out of spite, we will throw the report out and no action will be taken. Should the player reported provide enough proof of their innocence, we, the SolsticeRO Staff, will make the final judgement. All decisions are final and cannot be appealed unless noted by a Staff Member.

6. Don't be a jerk. Please do not do things that would hamper a fellow player's experience. Examples are Ice Walling them in a dungeon, leading mobs to them, thus killing them, spamming them in PMs, and just overall being...well...a jerk. It's not necessary, and we will take action if you are breaking this rule.

7. Know your Staff Members. Staff Members can be identified in two ways, their guild(SolsticeRO Staff) or their Wings(Solstice Wings). Never buy in to a player posing as a staffer under a different name. They are most often scammers trying to dupe you into giving them your account information. Also, please do not use "GM" in your name or attempt to impersonate a Staff Member. If found, your account will be deleted on the spot. No second chances.

8. You are responsible for your account and your items. Keep your password and account name personal. As a rule, we, the staff of SolsticeRO, will NEVER ask you for your account name or password. Be sure to remember this. Also, all items except for hard-coded ones(Wedding Rings, Baseball Cap) are tradable. This includes Custom Items as well, so be careful who you trade to. If you get scammed, you have exactly TWENTY-FOUR HOURS from the time of the infraction to report it...if you wait too long, I'm sorry...there's nothing we can do for you.

9. Have fun! Ragnarok Online is supposed to be fun, as is SolsticeRO. Enjoy your time here, don't take losses in PVP or WoE seriously...with practice and teamwork, you and your Guild can become top contenders. Best of luck!

10. NO AFK LEVELING. DON'T BE LAZY. AFK leveling has been discussed in General Discussion. Stop being lazy, level like everybody else, just because you have a Homunculus doesn't make you special. It's a form of botting and will not be tolerated.

11. SINCE IT'S SO SILLY OF ME TO EXPECT PEOPLE TO USE COMMON COURTESY... I really find it hard to believe how nobody gets the "Don't be a jerk" rule, so now I actually have to add an ADDENDUM TO IT. If you can't play the game without running your mouth with racist remarks and generally being a moron, don't play here. If you get muted, it's your own fault. I'm getting tired of the complaints in this regard. You are just as responsible for your MOUTH as you are for your other actions in-game.

Regarding Automouse/Cultivation Macros for Creators and macros for EDP/Converter Scroll creation, I would like to ask of our players not to use them.

I do understand that these skills are a pain in the ass, but Automouse is about as close to a bot as a single macro can get, as are keyboard-programmable macros(some Logitech Keyboards will allow you to program a set of presses and clicks to one button).

Please do not use these on SolsticeRO. Thank you.
