As many of you from CorrosiveRO HR may recall, I never really "stop" working on the server. In fact, SolsticeRO is always in constant development, as I aim to keep expanding our server and fixing any errors, bugs, or changes that may come along the way.

This Development Log is pretty much a journal of my efforts on the server. If you are in doubt of anything regarding SolsticeRO, check here first, it may answer your questions if something has changed. Now then, let's get started. This topic will be closed after each post I make, please don't try to reply to it.

11/10/2008 --

- It's two days post-release. Time to get cracking...

- Forum Rules and Regulations written up.

- SolsticeRO "Good Sportsmanship" pledge written up.

- SolsticeRO "Before reporting bugs/errors" short FAQ written up. All three topics have been pinned and closed.

- The sRO Warp Service NPC has been fixed. You can all thank eAthena's own resident genius scripter Kisuka for all the headaches. The Warp NPC now appears in Rachel and Moscovia, faulty cells in Coal Mines Warp and Morocc have been fixed as well. Enjoy!!

- Solstice Credit Trade-in NPC has been started, should be finished within the day.

- A new Splash Page replaces the absolutely horrible one...rofl. MUCH thanks to my friend Liana for the image and coding!! It looks fantastic!

11/12/2008 --

Oh man, do I ever feel like shit today. I think I'm coming down with a pretty nasty cold...anyway, not much development today. Wednesday is my double-shift day at work, so I need to go back shortly. However, did a couple of things today.

- Started NPCs for the Custom Headgears, to be finished tomorrow.

- Re-wrote some of the stuff on the CP to match SolsticeRO, now. It used to still say CorrosiveRO.

- An hourly announcer has been added to SolsticeRO, it automatically announces short messages roughly every hour or so. Nothing too crazy, won't get annoying, I promise. If it does, I'll just remove it.

- Baby Job Changer added. Now you don't need to find two married players if you would like to play a Baby Class.

11/13/2008 --

It's Thursday, it's my day off, and that means Development Day!!

- A forums re-skinning is in progress by Liana, and it's looking better with each passing minute! Great job!!

- Custom Headgear Quests are going in today. Here's what's done so far...

* Black Back Ribbon Quest
* Black Beret Quest
* Dark Knight Mask Quest

One more to go.

- The Valhallen Item NPC "Lenneth" has been added to SolsticeRO. She currently resides in Prontera, and you can spot her annoying, floating form quite easily. However, if you can get around her dated appearance, she contains quests for the God Items. The Quests have been left *untouched*, and require War of Emperium drops. Good luck.

- "Features of SolsticeRO" has been written up. Please refer to it for a comprehensive look at SolsticeRO.

- The Solstice Credit Trade-in NPC is in, and couldn't be a better time...tomorrow is the big event for a Solstice Credit.

Been pretty busy, since my parents are coming up for the weekend from the US. But, couple of little things.

- Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. The Customs Quests ARE in production. I'd like to get them in sometime before the weekend.

- All Healers are now one-click.

11/24/2008 --

- Some new Custom Headgear quests are in the works for currently existing items that are either unobtainable by drop or standard eA quests. We had these on CorrosiveRO, which include Deviruchi Hats, Beanies, Red Glasses, and the like. Should be in soon!!

- Screwing around with that quest EXP variable is well...interesting, to say the least. Needs more testing, but I will keep you guys posted.

- SolsticeRO's Winter Patch is underway!! Changes include tuned up descriptions to reflect the Custom Headgear quests mentioned above, as well as an MP3nametable.txt fully customized for the next entry...

- The SolsticeRO BGM pack is FINISHED and will be uploaded and ready for download tomorrow afternoon.

11/25/2008 --

- Donation Link and Info added to the CP. Thread is in General Discussion.

- Removed the "slot" that was showing up on Monocle.

- Edited the stats for a few of the KRO headgear items.

- New patch released, it contains an updated MP3NameTable.txt to reflect the...

- BGM Pack Released.

- idnum2itemdesctable.txt, or the Item Description Tables in plain English, have been edited to reflect the changes made to the Custom Items. The thread will be changed tomorrow to reflect this. DEF values have been reduced, 10 DEF for all Customs was WAY overkill, they have been edited to a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 DEF on various items.

11/28/2008 --

- Rachel Temple has been opened up thanks to our event on Friday. Do the two quests necessary, and you'll be in Rachel Sanctuary.

- Two Wing Quests have been added. Demon Fire Wings and Cerulean Criticals are implemented and tested. Good luck with the quests, those of you that find them. There will be more coming in as I get them finished.

- Chakra Quests started.

Wow, I'm an idiot. Rofl.

- I'm sorry, Demon Fire Wings WEREN'T in, those that were looking for the NPC would find the "White Wings of Purity" Custom Quest instead. However, if you look in General Discussion, there are hints about the Wing Quests that are currently implemented.

- Demon Fire Wings, Cerulean Crits, White Wings, and Vortex Wings, completed, tested, in, and functional. Enjoy.

- Looking into that ugly Map issue with Rachel...apparently, patching Sakray and other things just aren't cutting it. I'll see if it's a Gravity Issue(more than likely...).

- Winter Patch is underway, to be released in roughly ten days. Various fixes will be in place.

- SVN backed up. SQL Backed up.

12/02/2008 --

- Those of you complaining about a "bug" with the Kiel Level 02 Quest should go back and re-read your Quest guides. Two players last night screwed up the quest and decided to call it a "bug". It's not a bug. Please ensure that you're following the quest to the letter before you tell the staff there's something wrong with the server.

- Glast_01 has been changed. You can now use /memo there, pretty handy for Acolytes.

- PVP Rooms fixed. You can now PVP in there. Rofl.

12/04/2008 --

- Mapflag set in guild_vs3 so that you can no longer PvP your party members.

Back a bit early, but eh. Stuff needs to get done. So...here we go.

- Pet_Conf has been updated. Pets will now use their skills regardless of whether you have their required equipment. I have also lowered Intimacy levels so at 30% of max Intimacy, Pets will start counter-attacking mobs that damage you. Enjoy!

- A Warper has been added outside of Thors Dungeon. You can find her in ve_fild03, just at the entrance to the dungeon. Feel free to make use of this service.

- Healer added to the City of Rachel. Sorry, should have added this in sooner.

12/5/2008 --

- Development topic moved to New section for easier access by players.

- A few NPCs moved locations in Prontera to free up some sidewalk area for chats and shop.

- Server Restarted to reflect changes.

- "Suggestions" Forum finally added. Suggest away.

- We are polling players in regards to our current issues with Rachel Sanctuary. Please give us your input.

- SVN Backed up.

12/09/2008 --

- More NPCs repositioned to different locations in Prontera in order to make room for vending Merchants. You can still find these NPCs in central Prontera.

- "Credits" written up to avoid headaches. - Descent

- Custom Headgears Quest is 50% done, it's a lot of pre-existing KRO items with no drop or quest currently active, they will all be available in a handy NPC for you to use. Hopefully by tomorrow. - Descent

- "Winter" Patch is on its way! Release should be by this weekend, keep an eye out for a News post regarding this. - Descent

- Seraphim Wings quest complete, implemented, check the "Custom Wings Quest Hints" sticky for more information.

- Seals(cmd_fild02) is set to allow usage of /memo pending the next server restart.
