New Characters
After you join, post your completed profiles here. Keep in mind that this is not a storage warehouse, so don't post a half-finished profile. Nine out of ten people who do that never seem to come back, and as such, they will be deleted on sight. Save us both the trouble and use a Word Document.

(Note: If you cannot store the document on your computer, PM the code to yourself so you don't lose it instead, or at the very least PM me (Solana) first about it.)

NPCs
These are characters that aren't roleplayed on a day-to-day basis, and when they are roleplayed, they are always done so by Staff. These are your professors, gym leaders, police force, and more.

(Note: These occupations may also by played by regular members, but you'll need to talk with the Head of Staff, first.)

Pokemon Tech
A note hangs on the door to the leader of the Pokemon Department, Professor Cedar.

"Professor Cedar would like to welcome all of this years Seniors to his office to receive their pokemon and ride to the Examination Site.

Prof. Cedar would like to remind all students that they will NOT be choosing their "starter" and he would appreciate it if you would stop sending him hate mail, as he has far too much to light his fires with this year already. He is not changing his policy."

The note is covered with some rude symbols, but it is still legible. Head in to get started.

Mountain Fortress
High up in the mountains, the very same mountains that are in league with Mount Volans, rests a large fortress, hidden from prying eyes by clever tricks and the best cloaking technology that money can by. It contains all members of the group that are not currently necessary, namely "grunts" who are in excess at the time being.

The facility is managed by a scientist called Dr. Mengel.

Aquila Valley
For a place to be abandoned in, Aquila isn't so bad. The tall mountains that form a crescent around the valley are easy to cross and the pokemon are generally pretty friendly and wont attack unless you strike first.

After arriving with your new pokemon and limited provisions, head west toward the tallest mountain. There are no routes, as every student goes a slightly different way, but the easiest way through the mountains is located in that area, so it's your best choice.

Mount Volans
The mountain that most of the students (and following teachers) cross at the end of Aquila Valley. It is populated entirely by rock, fighting, and flying type pokemon. they, like the pokemon in Aquila, are fairly docile and they won't attack unless challenged. They do, however, get bored and tend to pilfer hats, scarves, and anything else that hangs off of you or isn't properly nailed down.

Cygnus Village
A rather small town at the base of Mount Volans. It is populated by retired teachers and many of the "gym leaders" stop by to get advice or just relax and chat with their former colleagues. They also like the town because just about all of the new trainers pass through it, so they can get a good look at who they're testing this year.

It's a good idea for you to talk with the residents as well. If they like you, they might tell you something good.

Mensa Road
A long, flat road. It is the first real "route" you've encountered so far. Is is about three miles long and paved. the local pokemon include normal, flying, bug, grass, and the odd ghost type after dark.

Mensa is lined on both sides by forest and hidden within it is an old Temple, and, though it is not widely advised that trainers at this stage should be wandering around in it, its entrance is not forbidden.

Lacerta City
Lacerta is the first major city you will come across, and as such, it is also the home of the first gym. Lacerta is a communications hub. The Soileh Radio Station can be found here, along with the TV Station (PTBS). With so much electrical consumption, the only choice for the gym is, what else?, the electric type.

The Gym is run by Miss Luz Rodriguez.

Caelum Bike Path
The next league of your journey takes place on a long, paved, and fenced in bike route the leads further inland, although not all the way to your next destination. There are no wild pokemon on this route, but there are several traders looking to get some of the pokemon available in the earlier routes. Beyond the fences, you can see the landscape shift from trees and forests to a rocky plain with mesas in the distance. It's actually a rather nice view, especially at night.

Auriga Plains
Auriga Plains is a wide expanse of ground with only a few short trees and little, if any, grass. All of plants in the field are either dead or on their way there. It's fairly hot, and the area seems to be in perpetual drought, unlike the area you've just come from. The only water is deep underground, and because of this, there are many tunnels dug by pokemon down to these aquifers. It is best to watch your step unless you'd like to get up close to one of these underground watering holes. Which you might. It's your first opportunity to catch a water type if you don't have one, though how they got there is anyone's guess.

Because of the harsh climate, the pokemon that chose to live here are known for their endurance, namely Rock, Steel, Fighting, Fire, and Ground.

Corvus City
The next major city you will come to. Corvus is a mining town situated between Auriga Plains and the Dorado Desert. The mines are for gold, but other things are occasionally dug up as well, like pokemon fossils. Travelers are welcome to poke around and take any fossils they find, but the gold stays. Thieves will be caught and prosecuted.

The town is reminiscent of an old western, or a ghost town with people walking around.

As it is the next major town, it is also the next Gym Town. Corvus's gym if for the, what else?, rock type.

Andromeda Mines
The miners of Corvus have dug a long tunnel that leads from just outside of town all the way to the next major city. This tunnel, Called the Andromeda Mines (although they are not used for mining) is the main road that goes beneath the region's desert for safer traveling. It tends to be filled with a lot of the desert pokemon, however, as it is much cooler than above ground. You are free to catch any pokemon and keep any items you find in the tunnel.

Cetus Harbor
The tunnel leads to an oasis in the desert. Just beyond the mouth of the cave is a sprawling city on the beach. Vacationers lounge under beach umbrellas and children play in the water. Brightly colored Chatots sing from palm trees while Winguls pilfer bread from the hands of small children. On the boardwalk can be found numerous shops, hotels, and restaurants for out-of-town visitors, leading people to wonder if the region is quite as exclusive as PT leads people to believe.

There is a gym here, but contrary to what one might expect, the Leader uses the fire type.

Delphinus Bay
The fastest way to get to the next town involved crossing Delphinus Bay, so off you go. Hopefully you've gotten a a water type by now. If not, there is a ferry you can ride on, though it's much slower.

As would be expected on a water route, it is almost entirely populated by water-type pokemon.

Babel Park
An area exclusively for pokemon. It is a sprawling natural reserve-like area made up mostly of plains, trees, and a large lake. It is for pokemon to relax while their trainers are off doing whatever it is that they do.

This is the ONLY place where you may roleplay as a pokemon, and even then only as one you have captured.

Logan City
A large town out of the way of the rest of the region. It is a place where trainers can relax and be free of their other obligations. Or train as brutally as ever. Their choice. Pokemon battles are prohibited (this board is not modded), but you are allowed to have your pokemon out.

Helios Mansion
Helios Mansion is located on an island off the coast of Soileh. It belongs to the richest resident of the island, Headmaster James C. Helios. Prof. Helios opens his mansion (and the rest of his private island) to the students of the school during special occasions, namely the holidays. Of course, no ID is ever checked, so non-school members can just as easily get in as the students and teachers to enjoy the party.
