The Roads
Long stretches of empty highway that border the Forest. There is a ditch between the road and the treeline, and sporatically, small pull-off areas for rest. The Fence cannot be seen from the roads.

The Forest (outskirts)
significantly less dangerous than the forest within the fence; the trees and undergrowth are thinner, allowing for glimpses deeper into the woods. The sunlight is dappled and constantly shifting; the woods are known in the area for their ghost stories and figment sightings.

The Fence
A ten foot tall rusted iron fence hidden deep in the thick of the woods, keeping outsiders out and everything else in. Every 50 yards there are signs posted reading PRIVATE PROPERTY: TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED.

Southern Woods
The usual point of entry to the town, the location of the Old Road. There is a large number of mangolia bushes in this area, and the fragrance can be intoxicating.

Lindy's Diner
A small eatery on the edge of town, once owned and operated by Town Resident Gunther Lindy. it seems abandoned these days. There is the public area, the kitchen (complete with a walk-in freezer), and an underground storage cellar.

Eastern Woods
The woods grow rockier this way, and there is a thin, winding road that leads out to the old Quarrey. None of the Residents dare to tread out into this stretch of the forest anymore.

Sparrow Hill Cemetary
A graveyard on the fringe of town, grown wild and partially reclaimed by the forest. Amid the broken stone markers can be found an old mauseleum.

Sunforest Rd.
A sleepy bluecollar suburb where a majority of the city Residents used to live. Most of the homes have since been abandoned for safer refuge.

The Fallen Gardens
Once the jewel of the town, a labyrinthine array of ivy-laced stone walls and blooming wooden eaves and terraces, all orbiting a beautiful stone fountain. Most of the garden is now either overgrown or fallen to rot, and there are rumors of a dangerous beast lurking within.

The Library
Once a grand archive of the world's literary accomplishments, now a hollow shell of its former self, most of the books lost, burnt or destroyed. Haunted by a brooding resident known only as The Librarian.

Western Woods
There is a relatively large-sized lake near the edge of town, with a few secluded lakehouses built around it. The woods are thicker here, darkened by thick, tangled roots, and generally impassible.

Westwood Theatre
Simplicity's Centre for Performing Arts, located close to the the heart of town. While the building itself is already beginning to crumble, The basemet of the building once served as a community bomb shelter.

Locust St.
A more well-to-do neighborhood of cul de sacs and large, well-built houses. There was a fire in the area and many of these beautiful homes were reduced to ash and soot. The others were looted or reclaimed and reinforced by new residents.

Northern Woods
This area has rich loamy soil, and the trees have gorwn thick and tangled in this direction. In many areas the ground becomes a swampy marsh that is difficult to navigate through.

The Newstation Ruins
A fire destroyed the printing press and left the charred remains of the building standing. An eyesore and an extremely hazardous area.. especially since someone or something has taken up residence there.

The Refinery
An old factory where stone and mineral ore from the quarrey is processed. A labyrinth of rusted gates and pipes. A large fence encircles the area, but it is heavily rusted and torn open in several places, as if by enormous claws.
