Europe:
Rumors still run rampant about the recent kidnapping of the long lost Andorran Princess, Rose de Castillo from a research institute in Anglia Massachusetts. Though her whereabouts were unknown until recently, the Princess was said to have been abducted by an ascendant tied to the Thelosian government, though nothing more than blurry photos and video exist of the actual abduction. In the wake of the incident, Andorran officials have refused to comment on the incident, saying only: "The Princess is now safe. Nothing else matters and we have no further comment." Andorran officials have also assured us that no charges will follow in the wake of the international scandal. Thelos has not yet released a statement about the recent disappearance of their ruler, believed to have occurred during an attempt to rescue Andorra's captured Princess.

Speculation runs wild as images of an alleged new military weapon captured in Moldavia by an amateur photographer circulate around the internet. The pictures show what appears to be a giant, spider-like machine being buried under rubble as an abandoned warehouse collapses around it. The provisional government of Trans-Dneister has denounced the photographs as an elaborate hoax.

In Russia, Mikhail Ignatiev of the National Party has won a landslide victory in the second-round presidential poll. International experts, who see Ignatiev as an extremely talented leader, welcome the outcome and hope he can bring much needed stability to the beleaguered country as its fifth president.

Unlike most of the rest of the group, Rose didn't have much of a reaction to seeing the strange younger version of Domerin walk by. Nor did she seem to bat an eyelash at the dark, gothic version of Cameron that followed him. Of course she was just as shocked as the rest of them. And under other circumstances she may even have had comments to add to Nick's. After all, she was no stranger to the custom of the old 01 members of tossing barbs at each other at each opportunity. Their's was a world of eat or be eaten.

In this case, however, the telepath was simply too overwhelmed to add anything to a conversation that was basically useless. It certainly didn't do anything to help their situation. With the press of so many minds wearing against her thin, damaged shields, and her defenses dangerously close to flagging or failing all together, she had to pour most of her effort into keeping herself under control. The addition of more strange minds, both the strange versions of her companions and the rest of the band, certainly didn't help her situation any, except that it did seem to calm the rampant minds of the crowd and the subsequent soothing of their rabid desires helped to ease her strain, if only just a little. Enough, at least, that when Domerin began a conversation that was actually relevant to the matter at hand, she was able to concentrate on it enough to add her own input.

It didn't surprise her at all that Domerin fell so easily into military survival techniques. She had expected either himself or Gregory to bring the topic up fairly quickly, and she trusted that both of them knew what to do, even in as bizarre a situation as this one. She supposed that was what all the military training they had gone through was for; to provide them with a logical group of rules and steps which could be applied to any situation.

As Domerin had suspected, it was quite easy for her to pluck the conversation out of his mind and offer her opinion in the same language by reading the proper words and syntax out of his thoughts. "<We need information. First we need to figure out exactly what happened. It's the only way we'll be able to find a way to get out of this mess.>" If there even is a way to get back home... "<And rest.>" She added, her tone quite a bit more weary than it had been moments before. "<It's been a long day - or what passes for one - for all of us. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but if I don't get some rest soon it's not going to be pretty. My shields aren't going to hold against this onslaught a whole hell of alot longer.>"

Major Barrow was no less surprised than the rest of the group when Domerin's and Cameron's lookalikes strode through the doors and brushed past them onto the stage just beyond the next doorway. The only thing that gave his momentary shock away, however, was a slight quirk of his eyebrows. Gregory had seen some strange things, to say the least, in his twenty years of service, but seeing the mirror image of his old friend (minus a few years) walk by pretty much took the cake. "I guess that pretty much settles where we are," he injected into the discussion that was playing out between the others. He could guess that the kid wasn't going to like that conclusion, but there wasn't much else that could explain what they had all just seen, other than that they had somehow crossed into some kind of alternate dimension or reality.

The major nodded quietly as Rose 'spoke', his mind racing through all of the information they had gathered so far and the options that were presently open to them. It didn't take long; they didn't have much of either. "<Right now, it looks like these people are our best lead. We should play along for the time being, until we can figure this out,>" he declared. If nothing else, they were going to need room and board (or at least some money to get it) if they were going to be stuck here for the immediate foreseeable future. "<Nick, you go along with Rose to find a place where she can rest, preferably in the building, but if not, stay nearby.>" At this point, he switched back to English. "Wright, you're with me." Greg turned and started down a nearby corridor. "We're going to 'check the perimeter.'" And in the meantime, see if we can come up with some more information about what the hell is going on around here.

"Lorcasf, Cameron..." The major's shoulders trembled slightly at this point, as he fought to keep his laughter down. "Since you two are the 'doubles', you're going to have to stick around here. Have fun."

/He. too/ wanted to giggle, but refrained. The verdict by Major Barrow, heard by all,, prompted a quick. "Right beind ya, Ma...uh, Dude..." He dashed to the buffet table, downing a couple bites of this and that, stuffing his face, before he went after the Major, catching up to him around the time he uttered 'perimeter'.

So, it was just Q and Legion, eh?

Tag gave a glance over his shoulder towards Cameron, smirking at him amused at the situation, before he and the Major were off to do whatever it was they were off to do. Tag asked when it was just them two. "Soo... maybe the whole parallel world thing isn't so far-fetched. I mean, it was a quantum reactor meltdown. All that energy...had to have gone somewhere, done something... right, Major...?" Good \question...\
