Europe:
Rumors still run rampant about the recent kidnapping of the long lost Andorran Princess, Rose de Castillo from a research institute in Anglia Massachusetts. Though her whereabouts were unknown until recently, the Princess was said to have been abducted by an ascendant tied to the Thelosian government, though nothing more than blurry photos and video exist of the actual abduction. In the wake of the incident, Andorran officials have refused to comment on the incident, saying only: "The Princess is now safe. Nothing else matters and we have no further comment." Andorran officials have also assured us that no charges will follow in the wake of the international scandal. Thelos has not yet released a statement about the recent disappearance of their ruler, believed to have occurred during an attempt to rescue Andorra's captured Princess.

Speculation runs wild as images of an alleged new military weapon captured in Moldavia by an amateur photographer circulate around the internet. The pictures show what appears to be a giant, spider-like machine being buried under rubble as an abandoned warehouse collapses around it. The provisional government of Trans-Dneister has denounced the photographs as an elaborate hoax.

In Russia, Mikhail Ignatiev of the National Party has won a landslide victory in the second-round presidential poll. International experts, who see Ignatiev as an extremely talented leader, welcome the outcome and hope he can bring much needed stability to the beleaguered country as its fifth president.

Full Name: Saeryn Rose Ashford
Codename: Specimen I-46
Age: 27
Gender: Female
Affiliation: None
Powers: Mutating Touch
First Meeting: Power Play

There's little love lost between Saeryn Ashford, otherwise known as Specimen I-46 and Quentin's alter ego, Tag. There first meeting, along the canals of downtown Massachusetts would leave a sour taste in both their mouths, though for Quentin, the bitter aftertaste would linger a tad longer than it had for Saeryn. Polar opposites, He, being lovingly plucky and hopeful, and She, bitter and estranged from any social situation she may have the displeasure of encountering, this ever expanding gap in moral outlooks will ensure a fierce and unending rivalry between the two, which can only end with one being incarcerated. Or, mutated horribly.

Full Name: Riddick Wallace
Codename: Chill
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Affiliation: None
Powers: Cryokinesis
First Meeting: Bed, Blast & Beyond

You can pick your nose. But, not your family. Riddick is, was, and always will be a bully and ne'er-do-well. He will most likely amount to nothing more than a scoundrel, and die like one. In the meantime, those who have the misfortune of coming across him will be remembered for ever, frozen in time. Literally. Quentin's oldest rival, as they've been at odds since they were children, it would seem destiny is not without a sense of irony. Or, justice, in this case. Both grew into powerful Ascendants, with alter egos, both of which hold a deep-seated rivalry with the others. They've fought on numerous occassions in New York, and, unbeknownst to Quentin, Chill has chosen to relocated to Massachusetts, the very home of the fabled Skygate Institute. Round two, it seems, is just around the corner.

Age: 38
Gender: Male
Affiliation: Skygate
Powers: Bio-organic barrier
First Meeting: Night of the Necromancer

"QUEEEEENTIIIIIN!!!!!!" Could there be a more terrifying sound? Does there exist a more blood-curdling howl? In all of Hades, has there arisen anything as frightful as the roar of the Barrow? Not if you ask Quentin! Though not truly a foe, there's is a...strange relationship. Major Barrow, an old and haggard man, no nonsense, with a short, short, shoooooort sliver of a thread of patience [especially where youth are concerned] and, the high-energy, never sit still, hardly pay anything anyone has to say any heed Quentin, who, much to the Major's shagrin, idolizes the Major. And, hangs on him every chance he gets... that is, until the inevitable occurs. "QUEEEN-TIIIIIN!!!!!" Moments later, the speedster is nowhere to be seen. Coincidence, perhaps? Or, survival instinct? The world may never know....
