Rumors still run rampant about the recent kidnapping of the long lost Andorran Princess, Rose de Castillo from a research institute in Anglia Massachusetts. Though her whereabouts were unknown until recently, the Princess was said to have been abducted by an ascendant tied to the Thelosian government, though nothing more than blurry photos and video exist of the actual abduction. In the wake of the incident, Andorran officials have refused to comment on the incident, saying only: "The Princess is now safe. Nothing else matters and we have no further comment." Andorran officials have also assured us that no charges will follow in the wake of the international scandal. Thelos has not yet released a statement about the recent disappearance of their ruler, believed to have occurred during an attempt to rescue Andorra's captured Princess.

Speculation runs wild as images of an alleged new military weapon captured in Moldavia by an amateur photographer circulate around the internet. The pictures show what appears to be a giant, spider-like machine being buried under rubble as an abandoned warehouse collapses around it. The provisional government of Trans-Dneister has denounced the photographs as an elaborate hoax.

In Russia, Mikhail Ignatiev of the National Party has won a landslide victory in the second-round presidential poll. International experts, who see Ignatiev as an extremely talented leader, welcome the outcome and hope he can bring much needed stability to the beleaguered country as its fifth president.

Williston Academy
The Williston Academy was started by Astor Williston in memory of his granddaughter Ashley. She was killed when her ascendancy manifested and she was unable to control it. Astor donated his home as a place for young ascendant to be able to learn to use their powers safely. The school is completely privately funded and owned; Rebecca Smythe has a very large stake in the school.


The main building of the gated manor is where many of the classes are taught; two other buildings were converted to dormitories. The greenhouse and stable have kept their original purpose. Several other buildings have been added to accommodate a gymnasium and a building for safely practicing more dangerous abilities.
