A sigh passed the youth's pale lips as he exited the building, fingers absentmindedly putting the rest of his wet hair into a braid. It was quite obvious that the male Dancer had just left the bath, freshly garbed in his typical attire: a white sleevless tunic and grey-blue loose pants. His feet, as usual, were bare.
He watched as the woman scolded the female Dancer, rolling his sharp blue eyes. The woman was his aunt, a woman whom he didn't really know. After all, she wasn't his instructor. The only time he had to listen to this woman was when Raphyn practiced with Solari. Otherwise, he had to listen to Thedre, the male instructor.
With another, long sigh, Raphyn took a seat on one of the stone benches that decorated the garden. He threw his finished braid over his shoulder, a wet spot left where the hair had rested while he braided it. Thedre was still away running erands, giving Raphyn a rare opertunity to watch his dance partner, the one who shared his fate, practice on her own.

Well, she was skilled, Raphyn admitted. It was a complex dance, and one that must be perfect. Raphyn had seen the performance before; it was nothing short of breathtaking. He was determined to be the best there ever has been. When he left, he wanted to go out in the most spectacular of ways.
Snatching a crisp, red apple from a fruit basket, Raphyn stood, stretching a bit. "Vesta," he said, voice sounding both bored and arrogant, "when are we going to have another practice session? We've been doing nothing but solo dancing for weeks." White teeth dove into the apple as he waited for the response from the female teacher.

Vesta looked satisfied once Solari ended the dance. "Good, you may rest now girl. I want you back here in two hours, understand?"
Inside, Solari was frightened. She nodded solemnly, "Yes milady." Her parents stood and collected their things, they all bowed to Vesta.
Vesta smirked, she had them at the palm of her hand. "Oh shh boy. Soon enough. Maybe later in fact, I'll have the see Thedre about it. You both need a lot of practice in the duet. You both did it once before, and you two were horrible." She sounded quite smug. "Now shouldn't you be practicing boy?"
Solari and her parents walked to the door in the building. She promised to meet them later on at night. She hurried inside the building getting her things for a bath. She was sweaty and dirty from practice in the hot sun. She rushed into the public bath in the building. Soaking in the cool water, long hair matted against her back. For the performance she would be done up splendidly. Jewels, colorful clothes, curled hair and sparkling gems everywhere. She wished that would last forever, but she knows it won't.

Seated upon a barrel a black robed man had watched the dance with interest. He hadn't been in the area for quite a while, but Vincent was glad to see the dancers were still as graceful as ever. He dismounted the barrel and moved his leather vest, with it's ornate copper designs, until it was comfortable again.
He walked calmly towards the dancing instructor and her male student. His hood was down at this time, and his dual colored eyes were intent on the dancer. Vesta glanced up and shouted in surprise. "Vincent?"
Vincent Desh bowed lightly to the lady, "Indeed. How have you been, Vesta? I see your students are as skilled as ever."
She smacked him on the shoulder and smirked like a hyena, "Oh aye, can't have 'em emberressing me. What brings you back here? Last I saw you you had a king's ransom to spend."
The sorcerer smiled as well, although his was more like that of a proud father, "I spent most of it, I've still got enough to keep me going."
Vesta nodded, "Just like you not to live the high life. Well, no matter.", she turned to her male student with a glare, "Boy! Introduce yourself." she shoved Raphyn with her shoulder as persuasion.

Vincent Desh. Malyla's Pilgrim. Nope, none of these names meant anything to Raphyn. He looked, a bored expression on his face, to Vesta. "Is it our fault we don't know? After all, you're the teacher," he said, smiling inwardly as a look of irritation crossed Vesta's face.
He turned back to this stranger, more currious than he would let himself admit. "So, who are you, then?" he asked, his tone begining to lose it's rudeness. His arms were crossed over his chest casually, ignoring the teacher off to his side.
