The rules are pretty basic. Violation will result in a warning followed by possible banning. (Last updated August 18, 2005)

1- This is an advanced site. Meaning proper grammar, punctuation and spelling are expected. Of course, it is understood that mistakes are made (I do it all the time), but there is a point of excess. Separation of IC and OOC is required (use either OOC: or (()) to separate). Chatspeak (ex: wat r u up 2?) is forbidden!

2- Please keep proper role-play etiquette. This means that eating a board (continuing a roleplay while one person is away, leaving them out of it), scene-changing, saying "see description" instead of typing a full introduction, and making the plot all about your character are all highly frowned upon and could earn you a warning depending on the severity and/or complaints.

3- You MUST post a sample of your writing for inspection before posting a character from or in-character. This is simply to make sure that everyone here is on a similar writing level. This way it is enjoyable for everyone. Don't worry, it won't be hard to get accepted. Mostly overall grammar and spelling is being checked.

4- Keep things clean. Some swearing is acceptable, but don't overdo it. A swear every other word or too many sexual comments are not pleasant to look at. Racism, sexism, ect. are strictly forbidden.

5- No powerplaying, godmoding, metagaming, and so on. No one is flawless! In the character sheets, it asks for weaknesses. If you are found abusing this information In-Character, well, you've been warned. Also, the weaknesses need to balance the strengths.

6- Be polite. People are showing their art, passion and minds when they post, so don't destroy. Critique away, but be gentle.

7- Post regularly. If you are gone for more than two weeks (unless you tell me you are going to be gone for an extended period of time), then you will be sent an email. Too long, and you might find your account missing.

8- Here I want to focus on quality more than quantity. That doesn't mean that you can leave a post as '"Hi," he said', but you don't need to write for pages and pages just droning on because you need length.
