Form Personalization in Oracle Applications
The Form Personalization feature allows you to declaratively alter the behavior of Forms-based screens, including changing properties, executing builtins, displaying messages, and adding menu entries. The first release of the Form Personalization feature was included in the FND 11i.10 minipack (FND.H), patch 3262159. It is also available as a separate APPCORE rollup patch 3358850, which was released shortly after the release of 11.5.10. Please note that this rollup patch contains a significant amount of code from the Oracle Application Object Library 11i.10 minipack FND.H. The Oracle Applications Technology Updates for Release 11i.10 CU1 and 11i.ATG_PF.H RUP4 (4676589) contain enhancements to Form Personalization; see the attached document for information on these enhancements. These patches can be applied on 11i releases earlier than 11i.10. Note: Oracle strongly encourages you to consider the latest Applied Technology Family Pack with Rollup 4 (11i.ATG_PF.H RUP4, 4676589). To learn more about this feature, see this document. The following topics are covered in the document: Overview Using the Personalization Form Limitations Examples and Tips Administration Window Moving Personalizations Between Instances Relationship to CUSTOM library Relationship to Folders Troubleshooting, Support, and Upgrade Considerations Changes in 11.5.10 CU1 Changes in 11i.ATG_PF.H Rollup 3 Changes in 11i.ATG_PF.H Rollup 4 |
