Suggestion Box, A place to suggest things...Duh! ^^

It is exactly what it says! :lol: If you have a suggestion or notice something is not quite right (not a forum bug...for example, if your inbox is not working) that you see, then post it here. This is not an opinion box, though. Just suggestions. For example:

There are too many Wolfriders.

...that's an opinion and helps nothing :no: However:

There are too many Wolfriders. We should kill a couple off.

Now, that's a suggestion and a bit more helpful. :thumbsup2:

Well, for starters, at the end of this month, the holt will sort of be partially shutdown. You'll still be able to post in the main stories and the off-topic threads, but the files need to be updated and re-checked to make sure everything is in order. So, CIS's and timelines, etc. are going to be run over (no, not like this :car: ) by the moderation team to check for discrepancies. Therefore, if you notice anything between now and then, post about it here so we can make a note to go over it when we do the check. Umm...I think that's it from me. *wanders off*

A suggestion? Well, I have one. We do have TOO many Wolfriders. Maybe we should close off the 'create' your own untill all the adoptables are adopted out? :sweat:

Well, aren't there just as many Plainsrunners running around as well, only more of them are adoptables? Perhaps both tribes could be closed to newcomers for a little while?

There are actually more Plainsrunners than Wolfriders. ^_~ The problem is, as Nah pointed out, that there are more PR adoptables. :dunno: I believe there are like 2 - 4 WR adoptables available. Any more suggestions on the matter?

Well, there should at least be a limit on creating new Plainsrunners, especially seeing as how those really aren't fleshed out anyway so newcomers stand pretty freely to do what they want with those :)


One suggestion could be that we ask new members to adopt a Plainsrunner if they could, and that if they're really opposed to playing a Plainsrunner they could have a look at the adoptable Wolfriders before creating their own.


edit: so that they could create their own elf if they're really opposed to adopting one, but make it clear to them that they would be doing us a huge favour if they actually adopted :D They'd earn lots of good-will! :chuckle:

That's a good idea. The Plainsrunner, with the exception of the few non-adoptables (which were created before the game even started...Tanagra...Scatha...Faren...and I think there's one more somewhere :sweat2: ) and the transfer (Selen), everyone else is an adoptable and I agree that we're good with the number that we have. Ooooh! This calls for a Shadow Wood Poll! :dance:

...okay, I couldn't figure out how to work the poll *sigh* So, just vote. Obviously, this is NOT including the forthcoming babies that are to be born, but with regard to new Plainsrunners coming into the game, what do you think?

• Yes - There should be no more Plainsrunner characters allowed to be created.
  
• No - People should be allowed to create more Plainsrunners for the game.
  
• Unsure - I'm really not sure where I stand on the position.

As for the Plainsrunners my vote is no to creating more characters, simply because there's so much freedom involved in adopting them, they basically only have their names and ages and families set in stone anyway.

I guess what I meant is exactly what Nahoku said. Creating a new Wolfrider should be the last option since we have MUCH Plainsriders up. :)

Personally, it always kinda bothers me when new characters pop out of nowhere, especially when there's no explanation given as to why they weren't around before. :sweat: Plus, as been pointed out, we have a good number of adoptable PRs that still need good homes. :grins:

I'm really sorry and embaressed to admit this but I've been a member and have played for how long? A while. And I still don't know who all of the characters are! I am finding it a little difficult to play but am trying my hardest. I personally think that there are too many characters especially because we have to learn two sets of tribes! :sweat:

Actually, you don't. You aren't required to play in both holts. A lot of players are one holt exclusive, Magpie, Willowshade, Two-Sides and Naiya all play exclusively in one holt. ^_^ It's your decision to play in both of them. As for knowing the characters in the story, my suggestion would be to post more often and with different players ;) That's the best way to get to know the other elves. ^_^
