SGT FROG, As Dororo

I absolutely loooove Keroro Gunsou (though not a fan of the English name "Sgt Frog"). I was so excited to hear that FUNimation picked it up--and that it's being released in the States September 22nd of 2009!! And so far, I'm love with the cast:


Todd Haberkorn as Keroro [YAY, TODD! <3]
Brina Palencia as Tamama [OMG. BRINA!]
Christopher R. Sabat as Giroro [YES, CHRIS!!!!!!]
Chuck Huber as Kururu [OMGOMG, CHUCK!]
J. Michael Tatum as Dororo [-insert fangirlish screams-]
Cherami Leigh as Natsumi Hinata
Leah Clark as Fuyuki Hinata
Monica Rial as Momoka Nishizawa

From left to right: Kururu, Tamama, Keroro, Giroro, Dororo

Sergeant Keroro - leader of the frog aliens who want to take over the Earth, but was conquered by the Hinata family which he now serves as a "maid". Lazy, selfish, and deviously fan-frogish about Gundam, he's the strongest when in extremely humid environments.

Private Tamama - right hand man of Sergeant Keroro. He looks cute and loves snacks, but has bipolar disorder, just like his owner Momoka. Just...watch out. =_=

Corporal Giroro <3<3<3 - is the tough-looking one of the group, but most down-to-earth. He's got a hot temper and likes using his weapons, but he's a sweetie on the inside. Has a big crush on one of Keroro's owners: Natsumi.

First Sergeant Major Kururu - is the most intelligent and devious of them all. He creates the Keroro Platoon's weapons. He seldom speaks, but once you hear him laugh, you know he's the culprit.

Lance Corporal Dororo <3<3 - the sweetest and most normal of the Keroro Platoon. He possesses ninja powers, but is constantly being ignored by the rest of the Platoon, so he has very little self-esteem. But he's the one who saves most of them from destruction!



If you can't tell, my two favorite platoon members is Giroro and Dororo! So I am extremely excited that Chris and Michael are voicing them!!!! <3 And, it's silly, but know how we all have ? Michael's voicing a ninja!!!

Ahh, this show looks so fun!! I HAVE to check it out. And the fact that I adore everyone in the cast certainly helps XD I mean, Chris Sabat, Todd Haberkorn, Monica Rial, and MICHAEL??? The characters sound hilarious, too

Oh man, I love ALL of these actors, this show is going to be amazing. I remember when they told us Funi. got it at Sakura con and the crowd went wild. xD

Just watched the 11 minute preview FUNi put up on youtube. No Michael, sadly, but still HILARIOUS!! I'm officially a fan of this show. Everyone did awesomely.
Although, I've heard that version of the show has been changed considerably since that video was posted...but still! I know the show will rock my world XD I needed another good screwball anime from FUNi

Ah, I'm afraid I might judge the voices on this one a lot more harshly than I do with other FUNi dubs because I've only watched the Chinese-dubbed Keroro episodes, and I absolutely adore it. But I have complete faith in FUNi to make me fall in love with their voices too

Especially since the cast is different from the ones in the preview that I watched <3

FUNi put up their first 4 episodes (Darn it, Dororo. Why do you have to show up so late??), and I am officially in love with this show XDD It makes my day complete.

Oh and Kuron, you can count me in as a fellow Giroro fan. And Chris Sabat only makes him more adorable XD

Of course, I love all the frogs so far. Todd's line delivery is hysterical and so....out-there! And Brina is lovable as ever.

EDIT: Okay, now I'm officially obsessing over Giroro/Natsumi

But yeah, I'm eagerly awaiting Michael's entrance into the show ^^

AHHHH! That is awesome! His voice makes it sound like Dororo could break your arm with just a finger. xD

And he COULD, too 8D That's the beauty of it! But yeah, that's an awesome "I-hate-you-guys" spin on his voice. Great mix of threatening with some underlying Dororo-ish cuteness. Especially when talking to Koyuki.

Can't wait to hear his "trauma switch" voice XDD

You guys should hear the childhood flashbacks scenes XD They're adorable!
Honest to God, I was sitting there going "......that's the same guy who voices frickin' Domeki. What the hell?" I know it's been said before, but....AMAZING range on this guy. Seriously.
