It was a good run, guys.

But. . . I think it’s time to admit that the past year of being discouraged by the lack of interest in this place has taken a toll on my ability to role play. It’s something I love doing, but seeing this place - a place that I started and loved completely, with people that I care for still - slowly fall into the common trends of inactivity was just a little too much. I tried; I really did. The times that I sat for hours and tried to think of ways to spark interest. . . It’s just not worth it anymore. The past year has been one failed attempt after another, and it’s discouraging to know that a place I love has come to this.

I started college this year, and it is going to be a very hectic time. I have four years of pre-med/pre-vet ahead of me, and then four years of solid veterinary school. Marie started college, as well, and Sammi and Southie have both been busy, too. I think it might be best if we just give Shadow Whispers the fond farewell that it deserves. I plan to keep checking it frequently, so you’re more than welcome to chat in the c-box if you still wish. If you wish to retrieve any of your information, your best bet is to send me an AIM message (HuggleSquishGirl is my screen name, for those that do not have it). However, I will make an attempt to check my e-mail frequently, as well (glass.kitty@hotmail.com).

I ask that you please be respectful in any comments you make. Can anyone say they did not expect this, really? I also request that, if you wish to use a SW character (especially those born on the site!) anywhere else, you clear it with me, unless you omit any mention of anything SW-related. If you plan to keep family members, packs, or events in your histories, please let me know and talk to me about it. If you wish to role play with each other still, then go ahead and talk about it in the c-box. I’m sorry for springing this on all of you, but it should not be a complete surprise. I’m absolutely heartbroken that my SW, my own site, has come to this, but there really is no other option. I care for all of you. I cannot say that there is a single person here that I won’t remember in future role plays, or randomly remember a thread with, or their character, or something that they said one day.
