The year is 1977, and the choice of one young woman will change the course of history forever.

Two aspiring Death Eaters have been set a challenge, one issued by their future selves. Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange were visited by themselves one dark evening, and told of how their future would be if the wrong choice was made. They were warned of their lives in Azkaban, of the fall of the Dark Lord and the rise of a great power in Harry Potter.

Their mission is to keep Lily Evans from ever falling for James Potter. In fact, they would be wise to keep her in a relationship with her current boyfriend - Severus Snape.

The son of Lily and Snape is the epitome of evil, something he takes from neither parent. Lily�s blood was overlooked on account of bringing such a wicked child into the world, and Snape was elevated to a position of power, worshipped among his counterparts. Bellatrix and Rodolphus are the executors of the Dark Lord�s bidding, his eyes and ears, his actions carried out by them. There is order in his strict regime in the darkest world imaginable.

However, something is rupturing in time. It would seem that not only did Bellatrix and Rodolphus get a visit from themselves, but the last remaining Marauder did the same. To save the world and bring it back to how it was, Remus Lupin warned his friends of Peter�s betrayal, and the efforts to pursue Lily must be doubled.

Unfortunately for both parties, the delicate nature of time has been tampered with too much. 1997 and 1977 are in limbo, the years melded into one another. The two timelines exist, both Snape and Potter�s sons living side by side. Time itself cannot be fixed, and no one knows what will happen once Lily makes her choice.

Are they stuck this way forever?
