-Sympathy-
Wee, new table
-for the Devil-What was happening? Days were just like moments turning in to hours. The burs tugged at her skin and coat, peeling white fur from her body as the albino lioness marched through the land. Crania held downward towards the mossy earth below pad. Everything around her was loosing its place and nothing seemed to fall right. Alone, thought felt as Silas sauntered down deep within lands she had never placed her footstep. The scent was grassy and lush, masking the ever-faint traces of Sorcen that managed to survive the hot days. This part of the land was left unexplored for some time, and no pride life had happened upon these grounds. Tassel lashed out violently behind her beating against her hocks as she fumbled onward. The land was violent like turbulence, tossing the blind lioness without care to and fro, making her loose her footing several times as she plummeted towards the earth. Although, this did not stop the adventurous one and she continued without a doubt. Everything around her seemed to be twirling at several hundred miles an hour and Silas grew dizzy, the land under her paws shifting back and forth as it to try and shake her from it’s back. The low growl of water was getting fainter the farther she traveled, breath quick and rapid as she finally placed herself down upon the rocky ground. Breathing coming at heavy rates, panting madly as damp spots brushed her skin and pelt.
The cool grass felt good as Silas rolled upon them, the tingling spilling down her spine as she eased her body in backward notions. Faint tingling against the back of her throat as she rested, paws outstretched in an upward notion as if to try and brush the sky with large, velvety white paws.
It's too late to cry I love you. The wind still blowing, my heart still aching one side of my eyes see tomorrow and the other one see yesterday. I hope I could sleep in the cradle of your love again. Cry for me, somebody, with dry eyes. This is the real folk blues. It’s not bad to live your life in a muddy rive, life is once. All that glitters is not gold.
Sometimes, on a night that is crisp and clear of clouds I’ll look up to the sky. It’s just an endless inkblot on a white sheet. We can’t come clean no more. The marching of their paws and the sound of their voices, ‘Red rum’ they told me, ‘brain scratch, brain scratch, brain scratch.’ Care for a sip?’
It wasn’t until soft antennas brushing her nose that aroused her from her dreamy state. The bug was large with immense wings set in a backward notion as it rested dependently upon the creature’s boneless body. The cricket let out a cry of its hind legs before springing away in to the grasses as Silas swiped at it. Red eyes shifted within their sockets, just a dream. There was nothing to sip, no red, and certainly no rum. Body churned as she lurched forward to her haunches, stifling a yawn. It was surprising to her that she dozed off but it felt good as she inhaled the warm air deeply. The sun was coming; she could almost feel the few traces of the golden crown emerging it’s way from the distant horizon, which she could not see. Ashen auds twitched. Alone, way out here, no one would find her now. Silas was free to be alone.

And So the Story Begins;
And there, he was, bathing upon a large rock, quite away from Sorcen, just the way he liked it. Eyes blink furiously as a new scent enters his narrids. A one called Silas, a mere Tano, had found its way into some place secluded. Some place where he supposed he was alone. A thump, and a crickets sound had momentarily paused. For this, his lids flutter closed, 'til the crickets break into song once more. Lip pulled upwards, revealing his sharp fangs. Lids pull themself open with great reluctance, though he did it none the less.
His jaws pulled from eachother, like magnets N and N, pulling away. A sound emited as he yawned, silent as it was. Plume curled and stopped, whipping about lazily. He stretched, claws pushing out from his mits crevices, clicking lightly upon the rock, as he pulled them in, hearing a familiar sound, nails on a chalkboard. Lobes flicker as he quickly had stopped, he was completley awake and aware now. Whiskers twitch, as he swiftly moves off of the rock he was once upon. The blades of grass were soft, and the very tips had dew resting upon them. Black mits rolled neatly 'cross them, ignoring the sensastional feeling.
And there came Silas, quite the pretty little thing. But, she seemed familiar... He was content, watching her, simply watching her, though she didn't even know it. He chuckled inwardly, but he soon made way to her. I thought I was alone out here. Seems not. He drawled out, tone slightly agitated. Hell, he was being honest. Enlighten me with you're name, Tano, it seems we haven't met, but you are very much so aquainted with Sorcen. I am Kovomu, Pilli. He said, smirking ever so slightly. But not much. Not much at all. Yes, she was the pretty little thing he saw some afar. He was right, he knew it. I'm always right... He told himself thoughtfully. Yes, he always was. There was no arguing with that, period.
And this isn't really the ending;

The air around was dry and she could feel it against her pale, ghostly sides. Breathing was ever so subtle as she lay spread out upon her left side red glistening orbs in a half-shut state, not that it mattered, Silas was blind anyways. Haunches curled ever so slightly as she turned, heavy breathing picking up a smell of a distant lion. A male, and semi-high ranking for that matter as well, paws flipped out from under her as she slowly rose to her elegant pose. So far away she had no protection this far away from everyone, whoever was drawing near could slay her fairly easily, very easily indeed.
Although, a series of sounds that followed soothes Silas’s restless soul, a yawn, a stretch, and other assorted noises of one being aroused. Nothing that sounded threatening to her well besides the talons against the rock, sometimes noses like these could not be helped. Tassel gentle twitched behind her and crania soared upward panning the land out in front of her as paw steps drew closer, closer still, until she could practically hear his breathing.
”You are never alone, sir, sometimes blind spirits follow or sometimes the merely saunter in to your gable.” the voice was gentle, it was kind and Silas was in a relieved state, the tension within her muscles released as she added her reply.
”My name, sir Kovomu, is Silas. Sorcen?” she echoed, ”Well? No. I don’t know him well, we have occasional chats now and then but I wouldn’t say we were anything more then distant friends.” voice calm and supple, ”How do you do kind sir?” It was crucial to draw in as many allies for the disabled lioness as she could and was well-known for her kind nature and pleasurable way to start conversation. Silas settled back down upon her haunches, ears tweaking gently as her elegant pose and carriage dropped. Silas was a female and it was mandatory for all females to drop below a male weather they where higher in ranks or not. Male’s rules all, females meant little to males usually breeding and the occasional chat when the males had nothing better to do.
The odd presence of Kovomu puzzled Silas, he was not hostile nor was he open. Something was being hidden and she could almost feel it, extracting it from the aroma that surrounded him. It was as if she could smell the color of your soul, smell your mind, and hear the silent voices inside one’s head. That’s what she received…for being blind.

And So the Story Begins;
Her words puzzled him, spirits? Well, he wasn't one to believe in the spirit or magical crap. Yet he said nothing, there was no need to. His whisker twitched lightly, as he watched her keenly. There was no way to read Kovomu, at all. He wasn't open, nor was he silent and one to stay far away. He wasn't in between, either. He was something far away from a word that can't be reached. Ah, I see.... He murmured carefully, about her comment of Sorcen. And what a pretty name you hold... Silas... He said, claws pulling in, the pebbles lightly bouncing off of eachother as he pushed his claws out again. I can't complain about today, it's quite the beautiful day. He said warmly. And you? How are you doing upon this fine day...
He failed to notice there was something different about her, such as she was blind. He felt there was no problem with her at all, not that being blind was a problem. His mane swayed lightly within the wind, his plume flicking left and right with laziness and a care-free feel to it. He looked at her, almost as if he was to examine, and in a way, he was. He was putting her image in his memory, putting the very sound of her kind voice within his membrane. This is Silas. This, I shan't forget. His lobes flicker, awaiting to hear her voice yet again. The voice that was her own, no one elses.
And this isn't really the ending;

By spirits, she did not mean magical or fanastical imagination at all, in fact her words even confused herself but she paid no mind as a broad smile crept up over her maw. It was nice to live in such a wonderful pride where the members within it’s walls where kind and friendly, the food was good, and the disabled Silas had little to fear. ”Yes, sir,” she replied, lifting her body upward towards the inkblot of the skies smudged with white stars, ”Thank you sir, I’m glad you like it.” tassel swooshed gently, curling ‘round her hind haunches.
Eyes that could withdrawal nothing but darkness turned in Kovomu’s direction, ”Similar, today has been nice. I’ve talked to Mueri but otherwise spent most of the day by myself, thank-you.” words flowing and carefree as she spoke, tongue rolling in a defined accent. ”I’m sure it was a beautiful day, but you see, I cannot see. Mother Nature has taken my sight away from me, but I see through my feeling, my ears, my nose. You don’t have to see through your eyes.” Oh how Silas yearned to see with her eyes, to see color, to see her mother, anyone…to see the color of her coat, to see the color blue, to see…what a wish. Although, when it rained she could see, the rain seemed to trigger something that let her eyes work. Unfortunately, rain was rare in this area.
Most seemed to notice that Silas was disabled by the color of her bright crimson eyes that glowed like a puddle of blood in the summer’s sum. Pupils where dark and black and shimmered like soft velvet but that red, that red appeared to be pools of blood. Although, as Silas lost her sight she gained much more her other senses inclined and had a better nose then anyone in the land. Ears in tune with every sound, and her ability to feel the change within the weather remarkable but she would sacrifice it all to see. A pleasurable smile crept over her jowls, exhaling a gentle sigh as a cool wind ruffled her pelt that was crisp and ghostly, but nonetheless restless with vivaciousness.
