I walk alone looking...
The young fae frisked around silently, tail wavering behind her as she pounced on the invisible prey. Leaping around with the young youth and grace, limbs out stretched to reveal small needled claws. Small ivon fangs revealed as she landed on a small rock. She flipped over to her back, tossing the rock up. She kicked it out with her hind legs before pouncing after it, auds laid back as she became a ferocious warrior. Silent as a ghost she slipped around the cave, pretending to attack and leap back.
After minuted more of playing she gave one last pounce before shouting victoriously "I did it! I killed the mighty elephant!" A broad grin spread over her maw as she in-visioned it, her small form over the massacred body of the grey giant. With a short laugh she flopped over, paw batting the rock away with little effort. She twitched her ebon nose as a gust of hot savannah wind wisped through the cave. She leaped to her feet as a interesting scent caught her nose, tickling it with a luring scent. She tilted her head, pale oculars traveling around as she walked out, what made such an inquisitive scent?
Still traveling around she huffed, giving up. She was far from the protective shade of the cave and tired. She made a low plead of loneliness from her throat, where was her father? Even Mueri or Silias would do. Even Kovo, even though she knew she must dislike the male, she had seen her father quarrel with the male many times. So it was to her, taking after her father by watching, that she learned to dislike him, she wasn't even sure why but it was just what she knew she must do.
Her tail flicked on the ground annoyingly, a cloud of dust casting up in the heat rays as she did so. She rolled to her side, head flopping down with a loud sigh, so loud that nearby birds flew up in fright. She let a sneaky grin cross her maw, creeping to her paws. If there was one bird... She walked forward, not making a sound with her overly large pads. She hunkered low, creeping. As she came forward she locked her gaze upon a nearby bird, small and probably just learning how to fly. Another smile flickered across her maw as she settled low. She must wait for it to come to her...
Second, minuted ticked by as she waited, patient. Finally as it took one more step, not detecting the other youth, she sprang like a wind up toy awaiting to spin. She landed to far ahead of her quarry, hearing its defining shriek. Spinning quickly she leaped towards it, paws outstretched. The bird was quick too however and it managed to flitter a few feet away. Maliaka took this only as a challenge and with two bound was once again upon it, this time though the bird found it wings and took off, circling and calling angrily down upon her. She stood confused a moment, realizing when the dust settled that she had lost. Back limbs gave ways as she made a loud thump. She gave an angry scowl and took her paw casting a shark rock quickly into the air fast.

I reject your reality
Sorcen padded wearily towards the cove, his head held lower than normal. He'd been up most of the night before, talking to Mueri and Silas and earlier in the morning he had acepted another lioness into the pride, Loriana. Kovo was with her now so hopefully sh ewas doing alright. He hadn't wanted to depart but rather show her the terrain's himself. But he had a duty to his daughter and now he came off in search for her. Earlier that morning he had been growing worried having not been around to say good night to his daughter but her scent was strong on the numerous grasses he walked through, all pointing him in the direction of the cove.
As he neared the cove and stood above the hill just above it he heard an angry shriek and large thumps. Instantly his mind thought the worst and he bounded down the slope, an angry snarl rising from his chest. He was about three quarters of the way down the hill when he gathered up his strength and lept the remaining part, his mane flying and his snarl more pronounced. If anything had hurt his daughter he would rip them to shreds, render them helpless and leave them for the hyenas. But as he gained the grass where his daughter sat scowling he noticed the flock of birds in the sky and realization came to him. The snarl was replaced with a deep laugh and he went to his daughter's side. "How's the hunt coming along?" he asked sliding down to his belly beside her, tugging gently at her ears. Behind him his tail twitched and he let out a large yawn before slumping back down again.
Lifting his foreleg he set his paw ontop of his daughter's head. He shook it slightly before pulling her close to him, a smirk on his muzzle as he awaited her response.

Silk white paws moved along the dirt road, drops of scarlet falling to the earth in small droplets splattering the earth in a regal color. Chest lifted wearily with tepid air bellowing deep within her lungs stinging her sides. The wound branching down from the center of her forehead and slopping deep down her muzzle bore bright against her ashen fur. Walking blindly down the road paws sweeping the earth in moderate notions. Despite the wound, Silas seemed to be doing well, a merry-go-lucky jog. Mother and daughter had been separated and Mueri was no longer in Silas’ sense range. Tassel flicked casually almost sure that Mueri was in front of her somewhere?
’How’s the hunt coming along?’ Sorcen’s powerful voice boomed, bounding off the insides of Silas’s auds.
A soft smile crept over blackened lips as she veered off, following the sound of his voice. Crania dipped, breaking through the small foliage that contently swayed in the wind. Red orbs glistened vibrantly within their sockets, despite their darkness. Sorcen and Malaika was sure enough strong within her nares. Tassel flicked with pleasure,
”Good afternoon, Sorcen, Malaika,” crania dipped, reclining lazily to her haunches as she contently shifted her no-gaze over the horizon.

With a huff the youth glared at the birds more intently. She flattened her auds against her head and kept the unwavering stare, she had probably gotten this trait from her mother. The stare was even, level, and it showed she wasn't changing her mind. It was a death stare, a lock, a simple stature of her emotion. She flicked her tail angrily, pale yellow peltage flickering with sweat from the intense savannah heat.
As she swiveled her auds she heard a roar, not a simple gesture of ruling war but a complete roar of outrage. This was no doubt from her father and she instantly ducked low, her auds flattening and all looks of anger on her face vanishing. She had never heard her father sound so frightening, she was honestly afraid she had dishonored him deeply. A tremble managed up her spine and she proceeded to tuck her tail under her, its end tickling her chest but this was no laughing matter.
As his roar turned into a laugh a wave of relief flashed over her. She let out a deep breath and leaped at her father intently. Her father was the lead of Allipe, Malaika his only daughter, his only off spring. She liked the fact of this but sometime felt a pang of loneliness when the pride left to do 'adult' things, tasks like hunting that a young cub as she wasn't allowed to do yet. This left time spent with her father somewhat limited and she relished every minute of it... normally.
She giggled as he flopped his large paws on her crania, shoving her head down towards the ground. She gave a half hearted snarl at his shoving her around. She smiled though and bated at him playfully. When he mentioned her recent 'hunting' she frowned and said dryly,
"Father, how sha'll I hunt when these so called 'prey' animals won't stop moving?" She gave him a questioning glance before she herself flopped down, curling up in between his paws and laying in the shadow of his large cranium.
Her mood lightened a little as she saw another white lion coming, her nares lifted in the wind. It was no doubt Silias, the blind white pelted lioness that was Malaika's aunt, thought the young cub knew nothing of there realtion. She flickered her tail and sent the fae a smile, realizing she couldn't see it though she added with a small hint of glee, "Hello Silias!" Even though she would have preferred Mueri over Silias any real company was good over her 'imaginary' friends.
She looked to her father again, would he welcome the femora to the meeting? She always noted his actions, then when he was away she practiced them. Being the leaders daughter she had plans of becoming high in rank too, but they where set far in the future as for as long as her father reined she would be a Tano, not the leading female as that would be a female her father would undoubtedly fall in love with, not hunt mistress for she would be much to young for that. She frowned a bit, this was quite disappointing to her, how where dreams of ruling as her father going to come true? She looked to her fathers pale oculars, her own locking with his. She truly admired her father, no one could ever guess how much...

Haunches crept forward as the mid-aged albino lurched forward, the scents around her dull and musty as Silas stood and turned away and melted away in to the brush. She had no idea where she was going, why would she?

I reject your reality
The lead male chuckled as he heard his daughter's snarl and he smiled down at her, a fatherly gaze focussed solely on her. It wasn't often he got to spend time with his daughter and he enjoyed it whenever he did. Though he had originally wanted a male cub, one to carry on in his place when he was gone, when Milaika was gone he felt the pride and joy that only a father of a beautiful daughter could experiance. And joyful he had been since her birth. A day had not gone by then since he had not smiled at the thought of his golden colored daughter with her cute black stripes on her forehead. Not once had he forgotten her smile or her joyful laughs as she ran around in the long grasses, safe as could be in the protection of her home. It had come as no surprise to him that she had inherited her mother's happiness and sense of energy that to him could never be quelled.
Still smiling in a fatherly manner he perked up as she spoke her question. It caused him only to laugh even harder, falling over onto his side, pulling her close to him in a 'hug' of a sorts. "My dear Miliaka, such is the innocence of youth! It amazes me!" he chuckled, batting her head in a good naturedly fashion. Rolling back onto his stomach he was about to rise from his paws to teach her how to properly hunt when the grasses shook slightly. His muscles tightened and he instcintively stood over his daughter, ready to lash out should it be an intruder, or Kovomu, he added viciously. But then the figure came forth and he relaxed and a smile passed onto his features. His dear sister, Silas. He smiled and dipped his head in greeting as he fell back onto his abalaster haunches. "Good day Silas" he said politely, well aware that he could not act brotherly towards her while his daughter was present. It was a shame to. He had often noticed the way the young lioness had acted around his sister. Her manner towards her was somewhat cool but he could only shrug his shoulders at it. One day she would know and when she knew everything would improve. Breaking from his thoughts he looked up again noticing that his sister had vanished once more. He sighed deeply and looked to his daughter as if saying "What did you do?" but said nothing.
After a couple of minutes he rose up and moved a couple feet away, straining himself to look out over the fields to see if he could spot anything for hunting or pouncing practice. He saw it then, a black bird, a crow. He smiled and he looked towards Miliaka, motioning her closer to him as he slowly lowered himself taking maxiumum advantage of the shelter of the grass. Flexing out his claws he dug in the earth with them. Extrating ones claws always made for better hunting, it allowed you to move swifter and quieter over the ground, giving the carnivores yet another advantage over their quarry. Gaze moved from the bird to his daughter and he whispered into her ear. "Mime my actions Milaika. Extend your claws and stay close beside me" he whispered as he slowly edged forward through the grass, taking care not to turn a blade the wrong way against the wind. As the pair snuck stealthily he watched his daughter ready to correct her should she do something unwise.

The young cub let her father 'shove' her around, enjoying the seconds that where spent close the the lead brute. As Silas was seen moving away she watched, only half catching his glance. she wrinkled her nose in protest but said nothing, her tongue got her in the path of trouble far to many times not to learn to keep it in its place. Her tail flicked as she watched him get up, where was he going? The young cub watched before stealthily getting up and following him.
As his claws extended to streak the ruddied brown sand she did the same. It didn't feel very natural to her but she knew her father was well better at hunting then her so she could only have to believe him. Her pale oculars watched him, her movements following his as best as she could manage. She wasn't perfect at miming her fathers actions but she did so without protest, even though some of the movements felt wrong and awkward. Her small bodice was lost in the shadow of her fathers, its black casting the grass to 'die' under his touch.
"Mime my actions Milaika. Extend your claws and stay close beside me" She didn't bother to mention that she already was but diligently followed him. Her tassel curling before flattening out. She sighted the same bird, that was the one that had been so close to dead. She gave the softest of growls and her claws seem to extend further, she wanted this thing down, between her soft pads. The little femme probably wasn't being rational but she was so angry that she had not gotten the bird, after practicing and trying all her hardest.

White tail flicked slightly, hitting his daughter's small form. She was swamped in his shadow and he smiled down at her in amusement. She had done what he had told her to do and he was proud of her. It wasn't his job to teach her how to hunt, but he took pride in doing so. Resisting the urge to sigh he thought wearily about her mother. If her mother was still alive she would be the one teaching their young to hunt. Ah well, there was no point wishing for something that couldn't come true. Smiling at his beloved daughter he inched closer towards their quarry. The grasses parted before them as they moved steadily closer, though Sorcen was careful not to move the grass anymore than absolutely needed. At last he was within 5 feet of the bird and still the stupid thing hadn't noticed. Smiling Sorcen spared a glance to his daughter. He would hunt this one and bring it down for her so she could eat, then that way she could practice after that with him watching and his example to guide her. So gathering the strength in his legs he suddenly lunged forward, the air suddenly alive with noise. The bird squawked once and tried to take off into flight but the lion had won his quarry. Powerful jaws parted and fangs were extended into the birds feathery body, sinking into the flesh. Blood gushed into his mouth as the bird 'exploded' in his jaws, giving a final squawk, several feathers entering Sorcen's mouth. Smiling triumphantly he turned and padded back to his daughter and set the bird at her feet, spitting out the feathers as he did so. He smiled and nuzzled her gently before reclining back onto his haunches with a grunt. "Eat up my love, then it'll be your turn" he told her nodding towards the bird at her feet.
He himself lifted his head and peered around the near by grasses, searching for something his daughter could practice hunting with. There was a zebra herd just over the horizon, but that was deffinately out of the question. He spared a concerned glance down towards his daughter, no, she wasn't ready to face challanges like that. Maybe once she reached her first year, Mueri and Silas could take her out and work on the larger quarry, he would supervise of course. Flisking his tail he rose onto his haunches and moved away a bit, looking for some sort of prey for her to hunt down.
