Breeding/Birthing
This forum will become very important once breeding season arrives. You can mate all you want during the breeding season, following the rules of course, but to concieve cubs you MUST fill out the application here. This is only if you wish to concieve cubs. If you mate during breeding season but don't want to have cubs then it didn't work. The status of the births will also be posted within here. Cubs will have defects and you are expected to just deal with it.

Fighting
Now, when you joined hopefully you read the fighting rules. You can have little spats with minimum bloodshed that will be left up to the fighters, but for serious fights, ones over mates, ranks, land, ect you must fill out the form here. An administrator or moderator will watch your fight and make sure that all rules are abided by. Before you start the fight you must have an idea of who the winner is going to be and post it in the form here. If you can't decide, then an admin will choose.

Graphic Requests

Yenka River
The Yenka River is one the largest rivers in all of Kyotu. It is rather skinny, stretching only half a mile across but in length is is almost 50 miles. The source lies within the Besiet Mountains. At the end of it's 50 miles the river empties out into a large lake. Several small tributaries flow into the river, feeding it. Hundreds of fish reside in the river as well as the lake it empties out into. The banks of the river are mostly long grasses but occasionally small groves of trees will appear. Young lions are warned to watch out for the hippos and crocodiles that live within the river and along the shores of the lake.

Besiet Mountains
The Besiet Mountains are ultimately the last stronghold between Kyotu and the desert sands of the Sahara. The mountains themselves are not that high, standing only 1500 feet high at the most. Only a select few of the mountains have snow on them and those mountains are unaccessible to all but the birds. The reachable slopes are all very rocky making the going harsh. Long grasses line the slopes with the occasional clump of trees here and there. Several small streams and rivers that eventually flow into the Yenka start here as well. Small caves can be found throughout the range, a safe haven for the exiled and the lone lions.

Trienta Falls
Unlike the name suggests there are not actually 30 falls, its actually closer to 20 falls in total. Most of them are rather small but four or five of them are rather large. The largest one of all falls 400 feet into a wide pool below. They come from branches of the Yenka River that fall over the edge of the mountain side. The pools at the bottom of the waterfalls have almost completely merged together, creating a massive lake only slightly smaller than the lake above. The falls are a place where lovers meet. It is not uncommon to find pairs of mates here, sometimes even a cub or two depending on the season.

Asta Meadow
Without a doubt Asta Meadow is the most peaceful of all the lands in Kyotu. The meadow is also the largest of all the neutral territories. From the base of the mountains to the pride boundaries it stretches. Trees are much more common in this area than they are in other areas. Besides that though, it is mostly long grasses. Oddly enough large boulders have litterally popped up out nowhere presenting excellent places to hang around under the sun. Herds of zebra and antelope roam these fields providing an excellent food source.

Natra Cliffs
The Natra Cliffs are in the southern half of the pridelands making a natural border between the territory and other pride's land. The cliffs are staggered, some only a foot or two high, others over 60 feet. The ground is rough and rocky and hardly any vegitation grows on the cliffs themselves. The land above them, before the drop off, is mostly prarie grasses with boulders and the occasional tree. Young cubs are warned to watch themselves on the cliff tops as it is easy to fall and predators lurk about. However, lovers of the pride will often come here because it is out of way of most of the pride's wonderings and it is a good place to discuss things without being overheard by others.

Sura Pond & Stream
The Sura Pond & Stream is quite shallow and half of the year is not even there. When it is there the waters are always cool and fresh and is a major drinking spot for any creature in the pridelands. It is a suitable place to teach young cubs how to swim as it is almost impossible to drown in the shallow waters. However, it is possible of course. The pond is located only a couple miles south of Tessract Point which means it is not uncommon to find awakening male lions coming down here for a drink. The stream is a smaller branch from the Yenka and so it channels the water into the stream. Both stream and pond are an excellent source for fish.

Tessract Point
The Tessract Point is what could be called the "Priderock" of the Meset Lions. It is usually only inhabited when cubs are born as to provide a safe shelter for the newborns. Tessract Point is built out of the side of one of the mountains behind it (meaning that this terra is in the far north of the pridelands). There are two 'beams' of rock that have fallen together to make a sort of an X shape. They are held up by a bigger pillars of rock. Male lions will often lounge around at the top of the point surveying the pride below. There is a single 'den' cut out of stone in the shadow of the X pillars above. For the most part this place it made of stone but savannah grass does pop up as the slope begans to decline down further into the savannah below.

Ahblar Field
Ahblar field is what makes up the majority of the prideland. It basically is located in the middle of the territory and spreads outwards from there. As I'm sure you've guessed this is just a savannah. Never ending grasses for miles around. However, Ahblar Field has several small groves of trees that can be used for 'private' purposes. Herds of antelope and zebra all roam the field making this an ideal hunting spot. Howver, predators of the field include jackles, hyenas, cheetahs, and birds of prey. Elephants and giraffes are also seen in the area grazing from the few trees that are here. For the most part this place is safe to venture through unless of course you find a hyena who's more stupid than they already are...

Ibordi Hills
As the name states this territory is a land of hills. A large area it is located in the northern most part of the territory where it merges into the mountains. The hills, though not often visited by the pride as whole, serves as a place for individuals to come. Lionesses who wish to give birth to their cubs in secrecy will almost always come here and find a lair among the hills. The hills are covered in soft green grass, savannah grass only growing on the lower hills where they decline into the savannah. Prey and predator alike are both scarce here though lions aren't the only ones who come here to give birth to their young.

Misitu Wood
Without a doubt this area is the most vegitation filled in all of Kyotu. Located in the central region of the Allipe Pridelands the wood is the largest terra within these pridelands. During the summer months the pride spends most of their time here as the trees give off the desired shade. The trees themselves are not large and are typical of ones you would see on the savannah, twisted trunks and plenty of branches. It is not uncommon to find lionesses stretched out upon these branches watching the cubs below. The only predators here are preying birds, hyenas, and leapords. Prey is mainly the smaller creatures of the African plains so the lionesses are often forced from their comfertable positions to go hunt out on the plains.

Sevit Edge
Young lions often believe this is the true 'edge' to the earth. It isn't of course, but it is the edge of the Allipe Pridelands. It is set directly over the Yenka River, the edge of the land just disappearing into nothingness. The cliff stretches out the entire length of the eastern borders. As the cliff has an almost completely smooth surface lone lions cannot gain entry to the pridelands by this route. By standing on the edge of the cliff the lions of the Allipe can easily see over the river and into the neuteral borders beyond the river. The place has been the main area where fights and meetings occur. The ground is rocky and hard for the most part giving even footing to those fighting. The remoteness of the edge gives it the ability to serve a secret meeting place between lions.

Taki Creek
Like all watersources in Kyotu, this creek is a branch of the Yenka. The creek is actually a branch of a branch of the river, but same thing right? Located in the southern part of the terra this is the main water source of the pridelands so the pride spends alot of time here. Because the Yenka is never short on water, even during the dry months, this creek is rarely without water. When it is the Allipe lions are forced to leave their lands to drink from the Yenka. The creek shores are muddy at first but then fade into savannah grass. As this is the only watersource in the Allipe lands predators and prey alike come to the creek to drink so it is advised that younger lions are never here on their own. Hunting can also be done here as the prey comes here to drink but to do will make the drinking water bloody.

Kaseh Cove
To be honest, this place isn't really a cove at all. Why it recieved this dubbance by Mueri we'll never know, but that is what she called it. It was within this place that she gave birth to her brood and where many other females also come to give birth. Located just half a mile from the Taki Creek, the cove is positioned idealy in the pridelands. The cove is like a giant cave made out of large boulders that over time were moved together. Trees and bushes grow around the area giving it a homely effect. Predators avoid this place most of the time but occasionally a daring hyena will venture into the cove, only to be driven out by the enraged lions. The cove has an overhang that covers the entrance to the cave. The lead male will sometimes stand up here to talk to his pride.

Isis Valley
This valley is the second largest area within the Allipe lands. Located on the western border the rocky hills on the west side create a natural border between the pridelands and the neutral territories. These hills are quite difficult to climb which is helpful to mothers who bring their cubs here as the cubs have a natural tendency to want to climb them. The valley itself is filled mostly with savannah grasses with the occasional clump of trees and such. This terrain, though one of the most peaceful, is also the most dangerous. Clans of hyenas and other wild dogs live here, preying on the unsuspecting lion. Cheetahs and lepards will also come here to hunt the herds of antelope and zebra that live here. Needless to say this area is the main hunting terrain of the pride.
