As I am Mother Nature I have watched all that happens in these lands of Kyoku, the place of desert's end. Whenever a new creature passes into these domains they always exclaim of its majestic beauty that it came from nowhere. But in truth, it has always been here.

Kyoku is an oasis, undiscovered by humans that have not dared to explore the harsh regions of the southern Sahara Desert. In the beginning there were only the Besiet Mountains, mere hills blocking out the harsh winds of the desert. Life began to grow and spread and the drifting of the continent and the corruption of the earth's plates forced the mountains upwards until they are now the magnificent height they are now. The life spread, creating an oasis unlike any other.

The first lion to enter Kyoku was a young lioness, Mueri. She was amazed to find such a place out in the middle of the desert. Having come from a line of purely good lions she thought that for sure this was a heaven for light lions. She settled down here hoping that other light lions would follow in her footsteps. Indeed before to long many others both male and female had come to the oasis and they lived together in harmony with one another.

However, this harmony was not to last...

Lions of the dark alignments had heard rumors of this paradise in the middle of no where. Should they take hold of it they could breed an army of dark lions that could cause destruction and mahem everywhere. Thus dark lions came forth into the valley of heaven, Kyoku in the native language. There were battles between the two prides, light v.s. dark. In the end neither group won. The survivors of the war called it truce, hence starting the neutral alignment. Two prides were started, the Meset and the Allipe. Now the prides reside in peace with each other, both taking in any lion of the three alignments.
