Cassie has long auburn red hair and greenish hazel eyes. She usually wears either glasses or contacts. She will occasionally wear colored contacts to changer her eye color or dye her hair just for fun. Her favorite color to dye her hair is purple and her favorite color to change her eyes to is actually white. She is on the tall side for a woman and bit lanky, ' almost boyish. She likes to wear her hair up and back. She prefers practical clothes, when she's working she'll wear black, dark green, dark browns and grays. On her own, especially when she's drawing she prefers brighter colors and almost garish patterns or plaid. She has long artists fingers and can often be found with pencils stuck in her hair and smudges of graphite, coal or chalk on her arms, hands and face.

Is very slowly going blind due to the stress caused by her powers on her optic nerves. She currectly wears glasses.
Is a tease
Has a mean temper
General Personality:

Cassie (as she perfers to be called) is, as a general rule, clever as a whip. She prefers to approach problems on the big picture path and then break the big picture down into small manageable paths. She is kind and compassionate but can be very demanding of her crews, asking the best of them and if they cannot give their best she will demand to know the reason why. She is bright and quick to learn, enjoying the hands on approach to her work. 'Hands on' seems to be one of the best ways to describe her. She like flirting but is honestly a tease, when pushed will rarely follow through on anything more intense then some kissing. Speaks with a soft Texan accent which thickens when she's angry. She has a deeply rooted code of honor as it pertains to the knowledge she gains from the use of her powers and it would take a very smooth operator to persuade her to act out and out against her morals. Draws as an out let for literally every emotion negative or positive as well to record her visions. Cassie is naturally curious and quick to learn and is usually up for trying anything at least once. She is very polite. She calls people "Miss" and "Mister" and such until given permission to use a person's given name. She is resilient, although not perfectly so.

She will on occasion give into her visions, drawing like a mad thing and filling sketch books or covering canvases with her visions. During those times is manic and distractable
finding it hard to focus on conversations or people not in her visions. She has a tendency to babble at these times. These sessions usually only last a few hours to a
day or two as long as she allows her self to slip into them regularly. These are moderated by her regular sketching.

Cassandra-Ann Alexander was born in Texas to Richard and Becky Alexander in 1984. Cassie is a Genetic Mutation Type Abnormal, having inherited her paternal grandfather's talent. It is possible her father also has some degree of
talent but as he almost aggressively denies the possibility of anything outside the human norm it is unlikely he's has a strong expression and he uses it as little as possible.
Cassie was always an enigma to her parents, her father the lawyer had little time for her and her mother the debutante had no idea what to do with her introspective, dreamy daughter.
Luckily Richard's father called and offered to look after the girl on his farm in southern Illinois for a summer. And so Cassie spent the summer of her seventh year under her Grandfather's tutelage. Under John's care Cassie blossomed, comforted by the farm, the animals and the river as well as the knowledge that there were others with her talent. She does not remember if this was when she started drawing her visions or if she had always done so but it was under her Grandfather's care that she learned the importance of recording her visions. His chosen method was journaling. She was told that if they were not recorded or spoken in some manner the knowledge would never leave and would eventually drive her mad. Whether this is actually true or not on a scientific level is unclear but it is something she believes to be true. She spent ever summer and great many breaks on her Grandparent's farm and has a fairly decent understanding of the intricacies of farming and animal husbandry as a result. She also has a decent understand of combustible engines and how to fix them thanks to her Grandad and is a fair decent cook thanks to her Grandmother. Her Grandfather, fond of bestowing nicknames, dubbed her Bright Eyes.

When Cassie was ten a serial killer, later to be known as the Headsman, was prowling the section of the Illinois where her grandparents lived. She insisted on visiting anyway and threw such a fit that her parents finally relented and allowed her to go. Her Grandfather attempted to help but as far as the police were concerned the things her knew he could only know by being the killer. She still remembers watching them drag her grandfather away in cuffs. The next day on the edge of her Grandfather's land she found a dead man's head and picked up. She was besieged by visions of his torture and death, seeing the true killer's face. When her Grandmother shook her out of it she was told she had been screaming. She told her Grandmother what she had seen, covering pages and pages of paper. Her Grandmother called the police and handed over the head. When her Grandfather was still not released the killer kidnapped a police officer, angry that someone else was getting credit for his crimes. The police officer was rescued and John Alexander was released when Jacob Wright, the actual killer was arrested.

Sadly even the greatest of talents can fail. The summer Cassie was 16 the Mississippi river flooded badly. The tiny family almost made it to safety when Cassie watched her grandmother pulled under by the water. To John his "Bonnie Anne" was his whole life. He got his granddaughter safety into a rowboat, told her to look after herself and then slipped into the water to follow his wife. Cassie lost her two most precious people in one day and developed a deep terror of following them. Cassie inherited her Grandfather's farm. She wanted to sell it but her father refused.

Cassie attended Empire University in New York and presue a double major in Fine Art and Theater Stagecraft. After graduation she she got her masters in Theater Stage Craft.
While at college Cassie became entangled in an investigation of a rapist/murderer on campus. The killer held his victims for three days before they where found. When someone in dorm was attacked Cassie became enraged. She used her powers to find the identity of the man, learning it was the Dean's son. She went to the police with her suspensions but with out proof they could do nothing. Ironically when she tried to warn her friends to stay away from the man she was the one who was captured on her way to the dorms from class. He beat her and chained her to a radiator in an abandoned apartment. More traumatic for her was the visions of other women that had been held there. Luckily someone saw her being captured and the police where able to rescue her before he could finish his work.

She was invited to work behind the scenes at a small theater in Atlanta. This work lead to her applying for the position to be Stage Manager at the newly built Old City Community Theater. She was lucky enough to gain the position and moved to the city.

Cassie does not know about Abnormals beyond her own family per-say but living and traveling around Old City she has seen flickers and visions of the strangest
things. She is a little worried about the things she has been seeing but her visions have never lied to her before. Therefore the monsters and other non-humans she's seeing must somehow be real. She is quiet excited to find out and will sometimes wonder the city on her days off with her sketch pad and some pencils, following her visions.
