He wasn’t exactly what you’d call ‘short’, but he was in no way tall- and that, combined with his lack of a ladder- was the problem. Somehow, someone’s Frisbee had got lodged in the ivy that grew up the side of his house, small as it was; and since the owner hadn't attempted to get it back, Callum had taken it upon himself to do the deed. Leaning out of the window to try and grab it hadn't worked, and had almost ended in his untimely death. So standing at the foot of the house and jumping up to try and grab it had become the next method. Of course, that wasn't really getting him anywhere either… but without a ladder, what options did he have? Aside from trying to climb up the ivy… but he wasn't sure he wanted the Frisbee gone that badly.

As Callum stood at the foot of the trellis, looking up at the Frisbee, just out of reach with a scowl on his face; he began looking about the yard for something that he could stand on. It was quite possibly the worst idea in the history of bad ideas; but there he was, balancing on a rickety old dustbin, trying to reach a Frisbee that nobody seemed to want back anyway. Was he trying to get it down simply to bring back the already questionable aesthetic appeal of a run down old house? Who knew, he wasn't even sure.

It was obvious from the way the bin shook with his added weight that it wasn't going to last- and it wasn't long until he toppled down from it, a loud crash echoing down the street as he did so, him winding up on his stomach with a groan. Very slowly, after a quick damage assessment- he began to push himself up to a stand.

Okay so it couldn't really be considered stalking when the subject is your brother right? Whatever your opinion on the subject, Bentley really couldn't care less. He had been stalking following Callum for awhile now, keeping an eye on his younger brother just to make sure he stayed out of trouble. And moments like this exact one was why he had never been able to keep himself from it. He had been watching Callum the whole morning, sitting outside of Callum's house in a black range rover. Not quite stealthy as he probably should have been, but then again he wasn't completely against Callum finding out that Bentley had been watching over him.

He had considered leaving after realizing that today would be quite dull when he noticed Callum outside trying to climb up the side of his house. At first the site amused him quite a bit, bringing a mischievous smile across his face. He always had enjoyed watching his litter brother struggle to do things. The fact that he had always been a bit better at physical things than Callum, and he made sure that he knew it. A trait he would probably always have. Even when the two of them were old and on their deathbed. Some secret brotherly code or something, Bentley tried not to think on it too much. The sentimentalism of it had a tendency to give him shivers from time to time.

His eyes were fixated on Callum as he climbed, his snicker fading just as fast as it had shown up as he realized there was a chance of the other getting hurt. By the time Callum has started towards the ground, Bentley was out of the car and moving to him quickly. His arms hooked under Callums as he started to stand, helping him up. "Good Job Nerd, I can't leave you alone at all can I?" He scoffed and brushed Callum off before taking his chin in his hand and pushing his face from side to side, looking him over. "At least you didn't hurt yourself. Thats a first. You really have to learn to be less clumsy one day" He finally paused in talking long enough that Callum could react to Bentley actually being there. His eyes now searching his brothers, waiting to see what exactly his reaction would be. Not that he knew what to expect, after all he had been gone for quite awhile.

Callum wasn't the most observant of individuals- quite a lot went over his head when he didn’t pay attention, and it was down to this unfortunate naïveté that he was entirely unaware of Bentley’s presence in Australia let alone his personal vicinity. No doubt it had been most amusing to his older sibling, watching Callum go about his daily life looking around with that daydream expression (and that was when he actually left the house, generally he’d be at his computer into the early hours of the morning working on computer programmes and testing out new video games for his employers). He was definitely a brains man, rather than brawn- preferring to engage himself in feats of the mind rather than anything physical; he left that up to Bentley. Bentley had always been the active one, the one who was picked in sports teams- their fathers pride and joy. Callum had been the mothers boy, berated by his father and at times even his brother for being lazy, carrying a smidgeon of puppy fat even now, and his coordination had always been questionable. No matter how often Bentley had encouraged him or how many times he’d found himself on the receiving end of their fathers disappointment or annoyance; Callum had never been able to coax himself into exercise.

The feeling of someone’s hands beneath his arms was the last thing he’d expected- and he let out a rather comical yelp, squirming to get free until he heard the voice, and he froze. Confusion was etched over every part of his face as he was hauled to his feet, and he stared dumbly at Bentley as he brushed him off- allowing his face to be manhandled. For a moment he felt as though he’d been thrust back in time, and was a battered schoolboy standing in the lounge trying not to cry while Bentley examined the newest black eye like a fussy mother hen, and demanded to know its origins. “Uh…” He was entirely lost for words, a rarity- he was known in his family for being the one who could never shut up when he got started; the rambler extraordinaire.

“But… well… yes… but…” he faltered, simply gawping up at Bentley before glancing around him at the car- and finally it all clicked into place. For a very long time he said absolutely nothing, looking around again as if he half expected a camera crew to jump out and declare that he’d been punk’d. “You’re… You’ve been following me!” He finally squeaked- for it couldn’t be explained as anything less- rather indignantly. “How long have you been in Australia Bentley…” He was trying to sound disapproving, but it didn’t work.
