Board Rules & Regulations

General Rules

• This is a board that allows mature content, including but not limited to sexual content, drugs, violence and profanity. IC that is. If you can't handle or accept this then it might be better if you do not join us.
• Speak English only! This is an international board and there may be members from all over the world. This is the reason why English is the only language spoken around here. This also helps the Admins to keep track of what is going on around the board. Any posts and threads containing foreign languages will be removed without warning.

Character Application

• Keep in mind that the School Rules does not have to be obeyed. We are aware that there might be characters with a mischievous side, some just don't care at all and some just enjoy breaking the rules. All kinds are welcome.
• Always use our Character Application Template, the instructions for doing that are provided in the post containing the template
• Your account name must be the same as the name of your character and correctly capitalized. If your account name does not match the character name, the Admins have the right to change it and a notification of the change will be sent. Correct capitalization is important. Your character will seem more real and serious if its name is "Anne Davies" than "anne davies".
• Character Count is unlimited. As long as every character has their own account you can have as many characters are you'd like. Be aware of your own limitations though, it is not possible for one person to keep active with an excessive amount of characters. We strive for activity and quality on this board and therefore activity checks will be issued.
• Signatures and Avatars are not mandatory but a nice complement to your character. The size of your signature may not exceed 450x30px. Avatar size may not exceed 150x300px.
• Photos and artwork that you do not own is not allowed in Signatures or Avatars. As to not violate laws we can't allow photos or artwork that is not your own to exist on our board. We will ask you to remove these pictures - and you will do so. This includes photos of celebrities.
• Keep Signatures and Avatars IC related.

In-Character

• Your character must be accepted and moved into the Student and Teachers lists on the forum for you to have the right to post in the IC-Section. You are of course allowed to post in OOC-Section while waiting.
• We have no lower or upper word limit to posts. But we advise you to keep a relatively high standard both in the length and content of your IC posts.
• No Godmoding allowed! This is something that should hardly have to be said. Of course you're character can't be over-powered and outclass all others. You have to know your characters strengths and limitations and keep a realistic balance of your characters power.
• No Powerplay allowed! You can never decide another character's thoughts, feelings, reactions, actions or words. If you require information about things like these to continue your post you have to ask the person you're roleplaying with for that information.
• If you want your thread to be private between you and one or more other players, then mark the thread [Private] or [P]. This marking means that joining the thread without consent from the starters is not allowed.

Out of Character

• Treat others like you want them to treat you. Separate your IC behavior from your OOC behavior. OOC you are required to behave well and respect everyone in this community. Bad behavior or any kind is not taken lightly by Admins and may cause you to get kicked out.
• Use the forum properly. Do not make OOC conversations in our IC forums and the other way around. The forum is organized to be easy to use and this order should not be disturbed.
• Give credit to creators of graphics. If someone else than you have created your signature or avatar, be sure to disclaim the artwork and credit the creator.
• Only one Signature and one Avatar per account. To not make the forum messy we do not allow multiple Signatures or Avatars.
• If you have any questions, PM any of the Admins. We will answer your question as soon and as well as we can. PM's are the easiest way to reach us fast.
