Rocketjock Group: Founder Posts: 313 Member No.: 2 Joined: 8-September 11	So, now that there has been more interest fueled into the fire that is this rp of epic proportions....we're turning a simple thread into a plot, more particularly a sub-plot for the Imperial, Rebellion, Jedi, and maybe even the sith factions. However, given the nature of the (OPEN) tag at the bottom of the topic, all are invited into this one....as it's huge. Link to thread: A Time For Action So, since it's become more than just a thread....let us know if you're participating. In addition to this, lets get some OOC discussion on. Characters Partaking in Blockade of Naboo Jakks DiMarco - Imperial Star Destroyer Captain (Kingfish) Jaran Torik - Imperial Star Destroyer Captain (Starcrusher) Corran Horn - Jedi Master Torus Val - Rebel Soldier Lucien Raaystra - Imperial Star Destroyer Captain (Peak of Innocence) Kaelin Veltros - Jedi Knight Tyris Hauk'eriaas - Independent Force User Zaina Hale - Bounty Hunters Guild Member Jaina Solo - Jedi Knight Dirk Bennet - Bounty Hunter So, with the blockade now in effect there are some possibilities that have dawned - #1) Some space bound action - we never get enough space bound action...and given the Imperials are the ones doing the blockade, I think it would be fair to assume we might do something about ships trying to leave the system or even trying to gain access to the planet of Naboo. - #2) Ground action - from what I see in the cbox discussions of the plotting effort, there is a want for ground action. Perhaps some nice NPC stormies need to come planetside and give the masses what they wish for??? Ground combat would be his desired position, and from what I'm working on him as a character, I think he'd be perfect as a spy/recon character. --------------------

And at some point or other, the Imperials involved are going to have to report to some chain of command and call for reinforcements, assuming they're still operating as Imperial military haha Anyway, in the seperate topic we could give insight into what was happening off-world, as in the form-up of the Alliances fleet, have the Jedi Council demand that there be some sort of galaxy-wide intervention. After all, this is the invasion of a planet in the core of Rebel controlled space. Considering it is a massive act of aggression and that the Jedi will be unwilling to allow harm come to the civilian population of Naboo this could spell the beginning of a full blown, site-wide, war. --------------------

It's almost like you read my mind...or post. I'd made mention of using my indy force user's starship for long range transmission to call the alliance and jedi to bring about the end of the blockade. Which of course is the logical thing to do, since so many are stranded on Naboo.
