Journal Entry X

The camp was always the same, it seemed to never change, stuck in time... It’s just the faces that had a tendency to change. I had thought at one time that I would never see those green fields, walk on the lake sore at dawn, or run through the wild forest ever again because I didn’t require the safely it provided anymore…I never thought that the place that I loved growing up would no longer be the same when I finally did return.

War. It’s on the tip of everyone’s tongue. And I understand why. We are being hunted, by an unknown force. Adult or child it doesn’t matter, one day they are living their lives and the next they are gone without a trace. The protectors do not know what is going on… no one does.

For our own protection everyone is being summoned back, though many have decided to stay with their families having built lives for themselves. I can’t really blame them. After all we work so hard to make a normal life for ourselves. When it works… I wouldn’t give it up either….

The poor Protectors, they are working over time to locate the newest generation of Demi-gods. I wonder how long it will take before the stress gets to them… Before the stress gets to all of us…
