Light thinks it travels faster than anything

Of only a handful of times did he walk into the place of Death and feel nothing. Granted, he normally felt nothing, but this was different. He'd met the angel, Castiel some time ago, and though he'd taken a human sacrifice to fuel him, he was still perplexed by the angel Erebus was still wondering if and when next the two would meet next. The world wasn't as large when one could simply teleport wherever they wanted. Erebus, being God of Shadow's and Darkness, could perform it best at night.
His shadows dance along his skin as he walked into the hospital, feeling the room grow slightly darker behind him. He gave a small smile, a look that he was accustomed too and yet never entirely felt. After millenia of living, Erebus had grown cold. He'd been this way since the day he was created, but with each passing night sky he always felt different than the last. Maybe it was the darkness talking to him, maybe it was all the damn violence. He loved the violence, but hated the waste of it unless it was for something greater than that.
Erebus wasn't entirely sure, nor did he truly care. He kept his power level moderated, kept back the enemies and “allies” who wished to recruit him to their fight. He knew he was powerful, powerful enough to go toe-to-toe with an angel and have the chance to beat it. Many of his brother's could not even lay claim to such a feat, and Erebus had been the only one who had walked away from a fight with an angelic being intent to slay him.
A sigh escaped his lips as he brushed past a nurse to get further into the building. She turned to look at him and raised her hand in front of her face. She looked confused, a small whimper escaping from her throat. His shadow's played across her eyes, and if one looked closely enough, a thin shadow moved down her throat, constricting her from speaking. Erebus was bored, he wanted to have some fun. He smiled to her and raised a finger to his lips, silencing her attempts. He gave a slight bow and snapped his finger's, the shadow's retreating back to dance around him as he strode away.
He walked among the halls and smiled, keeping himself from laughing and taking the life from this place. No, that was Death's territory, and Erebus only had a small right to the claim's of the tenants in his house. He supposed that was why Death slightly respected him, he did not take what was unneeded and did not slay without reasonable cause. His brother's did it for sport, and though Erebus was a cruel, as the human's called it, “son of a bitch.” He smiled as he continued roaming the hall's, not one human asking him what he was doing or why he was there, as if he was a shadow in the wind.
Open for anyone, PLEASE PM for idea's? I like thread's to go somewhere rather than be grasping at straw's.

Embracing The Cold
Lucifer had just gotten a yes from his temporary vessel and like all vessels, Lucifer gave the human he was wearing a chance to take revenge on people in their past that caused them to suffer. For Nick, it was the guy who had decided one evening to break into his home, and murdered his wife and baby. So, Lucifer, being The Devil, made Nick, stand and watch that night repeat over and over again until he felt Nick scream for it to stop, he was so emotionally distraught/broken he would say yes to anything to make the pain stop. Lucifer had the most important yes from Nick, all Satan needed from Nick know was that anger, building up inside of him until it explodes so that Satan (now, now! Don’t result in name calling) could feed and power his own motives. There was no time for human flaws when it came to being his vessel. That’s just want you get when you sign up to play this important roll. Nick will have to deal with it
Not many people knew and only a few Demons did too that when he walked the Earth and sometimes around Hell, more hell, then Earth, one of his aliases was in fact Old Nick. Less of the Old. It was a little ironic that his vessel had such a good name. There’s a very few people like Nick, he is a very powerful vessel. They had more in common then they’d thought. This was kind off a little ‘getting to know’ each other moment. Shame that this vessel will eventually burn from the inside out, and Lucifer would be there every minute hearing him scream in agonising pain. Containing so much light that he had was pretty hard for a vessel. Let along holding an archangel, the brightest archangel. Lucifer was very proud of this and still is. He was the brightest, morning star in Heaven. He hadn’t looked in the mirror recently.
Nick, the vessel, not Nick, The Devil, hadn’t truly understood the full implications of saying the big, all important, yes. A few little white lies here and a few portrayed truths there. If you can call them that, and Nick willingly said yes. Oh how easy it was to turn him, appear in his dream as his wife, and tell him the truth! Well what Lucifer thought was the truth, that could bend and manipulate at the same time. All Lucifer needed was to take control of Nick’s mind, body, soul and he was up front and told him that to be honest it would be unpleasant for him, but it was necessarily. This was Nick’s choice, he needed to invite Lucifer in.
A lot a people misunderstood him, they call him Satan and Devil, but people didn’t know his crime. He loved God too much and for that he betrayed him, punished him, just as he has punished Nick. After all, how could God, stand idly by, while that man broke into Nick’s home and butchered his family in their beds. There are only two rational answers to that and he wanted Nick to know them. Either God was sadistic, or he simply doesn’t care. Nick was angry, upset, he had every right to be angry. Lucifer was angry too, thats why he wanted to find God, hold him accountable for his actions. Just because he created them, doesn’t mean he can toy with them like playthings.
Nick wanted Lucifer to bring back his family. No! But he could give him the next best thing. God did this to Nick, broke him beyond repair, and Lucifer could give him justice. Peace. How could you tell he was telling the truth? Well, because contrary to a popular belief, Lucifer doesn’t lie, he does not need too! That’s at least what the vessel believes, they believe Angels don’t lie, that they were righteous, just another flaw in the working. What The Devil needed was for Nick to say yes...
Then yes... just like that... simple... The Devil wears.... Nick.... For now
The lights flickered in his presence as he walked down the hallway of the hospital. He could sense that Death was about. He had rose the horseman who had such high demands at the time. Of course he had met the demand, now he wanted a few favours met. A nurse ran passed him, Lucifer could almost taste the fear that emitted from her. Almost… She wasn’t scared enough for his liking. Her last thought was ‘oh God’ at the same time Lucifer had clicked his finger and she burst into jam! Human blood has splattered against his face and he felt dirty. He hoped he wouldn’t catch anything from these such abortions.
“God isn’t in the building, well maybe, but not that one”
He stepped over the pile of mess, that’s when he finally made all the lights finally cut out, he figured, being in the dark would make the guy he was looking for more comfortable. No, not Death. He admired the work of shadows on the second nurse he came across lying lifeless on the floor. Nick had finally gotten to the stage of starting enjoying the torturous things of the world, which pleased The Devil. It wouldn’t hurt Nick some much, but Lucifer didn’t care if it did. “Well, hello Erebus, I’ve heard so much about you”

Erebus began to hum his favorite tune, Silent Night as he strode along the hall's. Plenty of people, hunters, and even a god or two came to fear the song as he sang. He enjoyed it for the symbolism of himself, the god of shadow's, bringer of darkness. He smiled as he continued to walk, bumping into people as he watched the fear in their eyes.
Erebus had known something was wrong the instant the lights flickered. He hadn't done that, he was master of these things. He knew that something else had manipulated them, but who? Another demon come to ask his alliance to their Devil? No, even demons weren't that stupid, unless their master bade them so. If Lucifer wanted him so badly, why not simply ask of him, come in his own self and ask for aid, or alliance, or whatever the hell he wanted. Lucifer was a brat, a stuck up child with Daddy issues. It wasn't that he was the devil, it was that Dad paid more attention to the other son and he didn't like it. So what was a boy denied of his love to do? Throw a tantrum.
It was selfish, loathing, and hateful of Lucifer to do what he was doing. Erebus didn't much care, but if the angel continued to send demons his way, he'd send them back under his will. It would take great power to bend a demon to his will, but what were they bu darkness, or pale comparisons at that? It was his, all his. He controlled the night, the sweet darkness, the shadows as they played across the hospital sky as nurses continued to stroll past him.
He heard a finger snap and a pop, almost like a juicy melon being smashed into. He sighed as he turned around faced the man before him. He smiled and laughed, quickly dropping the smile as he looked upon Lucifer. His meat suit was taking a beating, or it would if he didn't find his true vessel. That much was for sure, and Erebus knew it. "Ah, Lucifer, how nice of you to finally grace us with your presence." He said with a smile as the darkness played over him, shadows flickering around the outer parts of his eye's. A nurse ran into him, and cried out. "The lights... why isn't the generator working? The power is fine, but the lights..." She stammered as Erebus gave a laugh and looked at her. "Darkness is all that will be left..." He said as his shadows consumed her, the scream bringing a smile to his lips as he basked in the power of her life.
He was stronger now, very strong. He'd taken his last sacrifice last night, and even now he felt even better, charged up and ready to go. "Sorry, Lucifer, you know how humans can be, so afraid of that which was here before all else. So, what have you heard of me? I could squash the rumors or confirm them. And why are you here exactly?' He said with a neutral yet friendly tone.
Because, after all, why not talk to the devil next door?
