"We know a little about a lot of things; just enough to make us dangerous."

This might be just another rehash of what you've heard on sites before, but please take the time to read them anyway if you plan on joining. As in real life, ignorance doesn't fly as an excuse. If you have questions about any of these rules, don't hesitate to PM an admin! We don't bite... usually.

CONDUCT
The first rule is easy, but it's also the most important. R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Don't make me sing it to you; trust me, you don't want that. This forum is a community. To make it fun for everyone, we're all going to have to get along (out of character, anyway). Save the drama for the roleplays. Keep out of character fights in the PMs, not the chat box or the forums.

REGISTRATION
Register with your character's FIRST and LAST name (if they have one) in all caps. Example: DEAN WINCHESTER or CASTIEL. PM an admin if you made a mistake that you want changed. One account per character.

APPLYING
You must submit an application for a character and have it accepted before you begin to roleplay. We like to think we're reasonable in terms of accepting and not accepting applications. Generally, if there's a problem, we'll ask you to revise the application until it is in line with site rules. Common grounds for not being accepted are: obviously not having read the rules and/or plot, substandard writing, the character is a Gary Stu/Mary Sue, the character is related to or plays a part in the life of a canon or OC without asking that character's player's permission, that sort of thing.Having multiple characters is allowed, but we expect all of them to remain relatively active; in other words, don't make more than you can handle.

CHARACTERS
Essentially repeating what was said in the last rule, but here it is again: No Mary Sues/Gary Stus. If you want your character to be related to another character, have played a large role in their life, or anything along those lines, you must ask the other player's permission. Please be aware that this may lead to pairings that aren't your favorite, but if they're within what would be feasibly be canon for that character, then they're fair game. Respectful disinterest in the pairing is acceptable, but drama is not cool. All powers and abilities must remain within what is feasible for the Supernatural-verse. If you feel like your character's abilities may violate that, PM an admin to discuss it.

POSTING
We are an intermediate-advanced roleplaying site with a 250+ word count. The occasional mistake is fine, but your posts should usually have proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. We're relatively lenient on this; just show us you're up to standard and actually making something of an effort. God-moding and power-playing are not allowed.

ACTIVITY
We understand that things can get busy, and real-life takes priority over roleplaying. However, for this site to work, you should try to be here to post at least once per week. It's just not cool to get people depending on your being here and leaving them hanging without a notice. If you must leave the site, PM an admin. If you'll be absent for more than a few days, or if life's gotten busy enough to keep you from posting for a while, alert other members in the absences board. Activity checks generally take place once every month. They may take place more often than that if activity is becoming an issue.

RATING
This forum allows mature content. However, any thread that contains content above a rating of PG-13 must be marked with an M or some other warning. Please, don't fail to do this! We don't want to leave anyone emotionally scarred. If you think you might not be able to handle adult content, think twice before clicking on one of these threads. Of course, if you can't handle the level of content that's on the show itself, you probably shouldn't be here in the first place.

GRAPHICS
Avatars should not exceed a size of 250 pixels wide by 300 pixels tall; signatures should not exceed a size of 500 pixels wide and 400 pixels tall. Posting animated GIFs is fine, but try not to overdo it as they can cause lagging on some people's computers.

ADVERTISING
We have an advertising board for posts by other sites. This is the only forum where advertisements are allowed. Posting your ad in other forums will lead to it being deleted. Joining the site to PM advertisements to our members is not tolerated. Don't let that scare you out of posting your ad, just do so in the right forum and you'll be good!
