Skattled and Ethereal, the founding members, decided to use the name Roimata, meaning teardrop in Maori, because it has a unique and beautiful sound.
Roimata is a design academy with various boards, ranging from a graphics and HTML teaching/learning, roleplaying, games, contests and challenges, chatting and many other things. The staff are friendly, and most importantly active! Also the members are friendly and encouraging, so welcome and enjoy your stay here.

NEW SKIN AND HEADER! Elegance Apparent won our dirst header competition and of course, as a blue skin is not exactly suitable we have changed our skin to temparary one, until we can find a more suitable one.
We have our first challenge up, so wonder over there and check it out. Many other things will be happening in the future so make sure you keep up to date with it all! Suggestions as to getting more members and improving the site overall would be fabulous and very much appreciated.
