freshman
freshman also known as fresh meat. they're the kids that
just graduated from middle school and are starting the
next chapter of their lives. we would say they're innocent
babies, but is anyone really innocent nowadays?
sophomore
the next rung on the ladder to the top. sophomores are
sighing in relief because they're no longer at the bottom
of the food chain. they've still got a bit of a ways to go,
though.
junior
higher up than the sophomores but still lower than the
reigning seniors, the juniors are almost at the top.
they've got the rules down pat and are fast on their
way to ruling the school. but they've still got a year left
before it's their turn.
senior
the kings and queens of the high school. seniors are at
the top. they've got the rules and the layout of the school
figured out and they know every loophole, nook and cranny
to get away from any mess they've made. the question is:
how will their reign conclude at the end of the year?
college student
college students are above the high school drama but
that doesn't mean they're out of the woods. these are
the ones that decided to stay in town and attend the
local college. or maybe they're from out of town and
still decided to attend the college for their own reason.
either way, they're fast becoming adults.
local
the term is usually used towards the adults of the town.
the ones out of college and are working in the real world.
visitor
visitors are just what their name implies: visitors. for
some reason or another, they're in town but they're
not here to stay. at least, that's they're plan.
