Welcome to Riverwood! Riverwood is a small, imaginary town set in Georgia in the fall of 2012. It's quaint, quiet, and everyone knows everyone. It's the sort of place you want to grow up in and come back to raise your children in. Located an hour from Atlanta, it's just far enough away to have its own little community. We are a mature, friendly board and we would certainly be happy to have you aboard.

It's finally cooling fown and the people of Riverwood are settling in for a nice, dry autumn. The leaves are changing and excitement is in the air for the college and high school gomecoming games. Not to mention the Murdoch's have resurrected their haunted house for the month.

November brings on the first dregs of legitimately cool weather. There's a few rainstorms but nothing too serious. Tension is in the air as RHS students prepare for upcoming midterms. And don;t forget to lock your secrets in the closets ... In-Laws are flooding in for the Thanksgiving holiday.

And just when you thought the in laws were gone until next year ... December shows up. Snow is falling in fluffly little flakes, the air is cold, and decorations are popping up everywhere for the holiday season. Schools are gearing up for end of the year concerts and activities and families are finding time to go shopping for Christmas.

Registration:
Please register the character's first and last name in proper capitalization. Example: John Doe, Karen Smith
One character per account.
No Mary-Sues please. Every character has their weaknesses and we all know that nobody's perfect.
When titling your application, please do LAST, First Middle formatting.
You can have up to 5 characters. If you want more, PM an admin. The only requirement is that all your characters are active (have an in-char post once every two weeks).
There is a temporary ban in place for SENIOR MALES and JUNIORS of both genders. These bans will be lifted when we see fit.
At the moment we are not accepting any more twins. Identical or fraternal. We're sorry if this is an inconvenience.
Posting:
This is a mature site so there will be some graphic content. If so, please put a [M] tag on your thread if it contains any. You can also ask an admin to add the tag if you forgot or the thread took an unexpected turn to graphic content.
While this is a mature site, we know that your character won't be having sex in every single thread. Please keep those sorts of threads to a minimum.
Our word count is set to 200. However, if someone posts a 700 word post and you only reply with 200, that's not very good for your partner's muse, is it?
God-modding is a no-no.
Date each new thread please. It keeps things nice and tidy.
The ICC is not a replacement for posting.
Please do not post in the forums until you have been accepted.
Graphics:
Avatars should be no larger than 200x250.
Signatures should be no wider than 500 px and preferably not over 300 px in height.
Nothing explicit and vulgar please.
OOC:
Please be respectful of other members and the admins.
Save the drama for in character interactions.
No advertising in the chatboxes. We have an advertising board for that.
Applications:
You have one week to completely finish an application.
If by the end of 7 days, it isn't finished, it will be put into 'denied'
You will have a second week to finish it.
If it isn't finished by the end of that second week, it will be archived and closed and you will have to ask an admin to move it back and reopen it for you.
