RIFT does NOT follow the books perfectly in their story or their timeline. We try and breach off and away from them a little bit in order to have some originality of our own and leave the professional story line to J.R. Ward, as we all know we're good writers....but she outclasses all of us.

So, this RP site takes place during a mixture of Rehvenge, John Mathews, and a few other books. ZeroSum is destroyed and Rehv is king is the Symphaths of the island. The Lessening Society is running low on Primes but they've started mass producing lessers to the point where the new baby powders are trampling the brotherhood in sheer numbers, and with the few primes drilling their huge amount of recruits daily, they're getting better and better...and more dangerous for vampire kind. Lash is dead, killed by the brothers and Xhex.


More than half the Glymera has been destroyed. In a lie spread by an informant they started to return to New York thinking that it was safe again, only to be massacred in an ambush of lessers. Many warrior vampires fell in the counter attack including some brothers, the names now carved into the brothers wall has grown by 3. (These Brothers were not the cannon brothers however, don't worry.)

After the attack, the Glymera fled once more, scattering to the wind like ashes. All communication with those who fled has been cut off, as they fear another false call and ambush. Wrath, the blind king, has lost an incredible amount of favor over this slip up and there are a few false kings popping up in different areas of the country. Wrath himself blows it off though....for now.
