Friedrich looked slightly mortified as Lewt disappeared.

'Don't worry about it, Friedrich, this place wouldn't always be a secret to everyone. I'll have someone follow her, just to show her what will happen if she does turn our location over to anyone. But if she had planned to, then she wouldn't have told us. Besides, if she's a much of a fan as she says, she knows I can kill her before she knows I'm on to her.'

'So you don't trust her then boss..?' asked Friedrich.

'I don't trust anyone. Not even you. If you ever happen to be in a position like mine, then you'd understand.'

Friedrich didn't even bother to ask, he just left to fix the roof.

Nahaz looked around the hall. The arena had gone better than expected. The Quarter knew about him, but when the Lizards found out, they wouldn't know where to go. He was in control of his life once again. Things were looking up.

The next day!

Secretary Grumkin was in his shop, piecing back together his beloved Choppa. However, the work had come to a standstill: he didn't have the parts he needed. He was sitting in his work chair, spinning around in tired circles. Eventually, the chair came to a rest, and he dozed off, head on his workbench.

"BANG!"

Grum snapped awake, startled, before registering Lewt's face in front of him.

"I'm gonna smack you. Git outta 'ere. Yer not welcome in mah shop." Grum growled.

"Geez. So little love around here. I don't deserve this kind of treatment!" Lewt's voice was think with sarcasm. "Anyways, I brought you a gift. You're welcome."

Grum eyed the box on the table warily.

"It's not a bomb. Promise." Lewt smiled wide. "It's more of a... peace offering."

Grumkin didn't want to open the box. And he didn't want to accept Lewt's peace offering. He'd rather pick her up and throw her through a window. But if he did, it would only stress the Shnucka, and the old Orc had been very tired lately.

Grum opened the box, and his jaw dropped. Inside were several of the components he needed for his machine. The orders usually took months, but somehow they were in front of him.

"W-Wot. 'Owd you git these?"

Lewt was beaming. "I can find anything, Grum-my-good-chum. You just have to ask nicely!" Her smile was, for once, sincere. "I'm sorry I messed your Choppa up, Grum, really."

Grumkin didn't know how to react. Lewt was supposed to be the most selfish person in Rezephua. It didn't make any sense.

"Wots yo angle on dis?" Grum inquired. "Choo always wan somethin' in eckschange."

Lewt replied sheepishly. "Well... I was hoping you'd show me how it all goes together..."

Grum couldn't help but smile, although he knew he'd regret warming up to her later.

"Put dos goggles on, den." He pointed at a pair on the table. "Anywayz, dis one 'ere is part of da engine, and goes like so..."

And that's how the Arena of Shadows ended for everyone's favorite Anti-Heroine!
