HAIR COLOUR & STYLE: Usually auburn with red reflects, although they turn to dark brown in winter. Cat wears them long and often untied.
EYE COLOUR & SHAPE: This is the great particularity of Cat's physical appearance. Her iris' colour is amber, with golden-like sparkles. This bright burning colour is one of the numerous "symptoms" of her mutation. She has cat's eyes.

APPEARANCE:
Although this eye-colour is most eye-catching, you'll notice it only once close enough to her. From far off, what you'll see first is a small figure with a firm determined step. Supple and graceful, her waving hips dance as she walks by. Not so thin, but not that fat either, Cat's body's lines are generous, sweet gentle curves tracing a good-framed corpulence. Large hips and thin waist, tender arms and sweet shoulders, refined neck, graceful chin. She moves fast and accurately, her gesture are ample, harmonious and precise, quite feline.

As she draws closer and closer, her dressing-style is enough to attract your attention, if her carriage hasn't already. No matter where, no matter when, you'll never see Cat without her faithful black felt hat on her head, or momentarily off at her hand. Cat dresses herself halfway between elegance and provocation. She even sometimes adds her personal touch to new clothes she's just bought, tearing apart her jacket's sleeves, sewing chains to her well-cut jeans, wearing classical black tie and white shirt with slim leathered trousers... Most of her clothes are of neutral colours, black or white, except the blue of her jeans.

Her natural appearance only adds two tints to this tricolour portrait. The red of her hair, and the amber of her eyes. Her skin? She's as white as the moon, as pale as a morning sky. Yet, this colourless epidermis quickly blooms in shades of pink and red. The lesser fluctuation of weather temperature, the slightest change of humour, the faintest effort turns her ears and cheeks the colour of her hair locks. These frame a proud and quite intimidating face. Her deep, sharp and paradoxically velvety voice passes through pale tender lips. Her noble forehead is underlined by haughty eyebrows, often frowning under the impulse of anger or irritation. When it is the case, her incandescent eyes seem as hot as molten gold, and quite unbearable to look at. But most of the time, they are of an elegant tint of dark amber, making up her white corpse-like skin.

TYPE: As soon as she was born, as soon as she opened her little baby eyelids over her amber coloured iris, it was suspected that Catherine Muscat may have a mutant gene in her DNA. By and by, this suspicion turned into a strong presumption as she had more accurate senses, a better balance, and faster reflexes than the other children. At last, a few years ago, her powers expressed themselves more fully and made her mutation a certainty to her relatives.

Cat's muted gene is a human one turned into an animal one. Cat's got a feline gene in her DNA, and so she has, or will have, the ability to turn herself, or parts of herself, into catlike ones. The most evident aspect of her power is of course the physical one, although it is not measurable yet how it affects her psychological personality.

Physically, Cat always had quick reflexes, for unconsciously, her brain and nerves act as fast as cat's ones. And so does most of her muscles and tendons, even if not as fully as they could. Understand that, still unconsciously, her muscles are a little stronger and a little tougher than the norm, making her able to run faster and for a longer time than most of other people, quite in the way of an athlete. As to other feline characteristics, Cat has to concentrate to obtain them. To see in the dark, she has to change her crystalline form and retina to make her eye more receptive to the slightest source of light. To develop her hearing and balance, she has to transform her ear, for her sense of smell, her nose, and so on, and so forth. Under the impulse of her brain, her nails can turn into claws to climb or defend herself. Cats can jump up to a height fifth times their own, and so can Cat, if she focuses on her muscles enough. Still, higher is the level to jump to, and higher is the difficulty of the act, for all these characteristics have limits. Cat is far from being the faster girl in the world, she can't see at all in full darkness, and doesn't entirely control her abilities yet. She can handle them only one at a time, and they sometimes turn against herself. For example, her improved hearing is more sensitive to all sounds, whispers as screams, rustles as thunder, and no doubt some are more dolorous than others...

Her mutation also seems to affect more and more her behaviour, but if certain aspects are obviously the results of her power, some others remain impossible to define as originally hers or catlike. Growing into a teenager, Cat's hours of sleep became longer and longer. Not with physical efforts, but simply with time passing by, she appears to get tired sooner than other people. She has not been awake for four or five hours that she already begins to fall back asleep. When it comes to her vocal system, things become most surprising when you're not aware of her mutation. Cat doesn't scream, she hisses. She doesn't moan, she meows. She doesn't smile, she purrs... All this being instinctive, she can hardly help it.

Sorry, but I don't think I will finish the application. I thought I had understand in the rules that this was an all-level board, but I am not abble to write all the paragraphs asked here, so I'll try to find another english board where the level asked is a little bit lower.
