Atrium
Located at the forefront of the main structure, fully surrounded by glass, except for a single wall which bears the entrance point, the atrium is a small espresso-serving cafe. Trellises grow across the paned glass along the leaf dividers and floral-shaped furniture rests within the area making it a place where people can quietly catch up over coffee with an earthy touch.

This room is split in two. The first half looks like any other classroom, with the exception of large photos on the walls expressing various types of art. The second half is confined and shielded of light. This if the darkroom for developing film negatives.

Grand Ballroom
The ballroom is perhaps one of the parts of the building that has withstood the longest amount of use and neglect. After being repaired multiple times, however, the glitter still seems to sparkle. Dangling chandeliers light up the ballroom with elegance, and the grand piano shines with the same amount of beauty that rests with its notes when played. The ivory marble causes a woman's heels to click and echo off of the walls of this magnificent place.

Classrooms
The classrooms of the Academy fill in the other rooms of the second floor, still capturing the elegance of the mansion, the wood panels and floors just as beautiful as the rest of the building. Classrooms are rather small, some with desks and simple chairs, while others are more relaxed, a few even with a couch or two. Some classrooms are tailored to the instructor, often having a few items around that benefit the class. Others are like regular rooms that are available for anyone for any type of lecture.

Language Classrooms
Between the four language classes offered here at Revolution Academy, four rooms are dedicated. With a room for each language, the wing of the school is commonly full of chatter - all in different dialects.

Music Room
Larger than the average classroom, the music room lies nestled within the creative arts sector of the west wing. Chairs and music stands are stacked neatly alongside the far wall, allowing the impressive collection of instruments to be the main focus of attention.

Information Technology Suite
This large room is designed for a technology class. There are a number of computers to fit any of the school's I.T. classes and still have room for studying guests. Computers are up to date and connected to the school's network.

Revolution Academy has been up and running since September 2005. Our members are dedicated to telling a story rather than just engaging in drama and we pride ourselves on giving them an environment in which they can do so. We are an intermediate board and, as such, ask for 350 words minimum per IC post. Our main aim is to provide a fun place where people can work on and, hopefully, perfect the art of writing and are more than willing to help anyone who truly wishes to improve and become part of our game. All in all we are a friendly board with friendly members and helpful staff, so if this sounds like the sort of place for you, don’t hesitate to join up or drop us a line in the c-box.

When signing up please select a first and last name and use proper capitalisation. Anything that deviates from this will be deleted without notice.


















Blood is being shed, and there’s no telling who will continue standing where they initially rose. Some will change sides after a revelation, while others will remain headfast and steady. The mutants had harbored no ill will toward human kind, though there are rumors that they will longer take the insults any longer. They once desired peace and harmony, where both races could be considered as equals.
Now they want revenge.

Nights are getting longer and the days are getting colder as New York finds itself hurled into the depths of WINTER. Forecasters as predicting a particularly cold one this year with more than its fair share of snow, rain, sleet and ice that brings with it the promise of a white Christmas. But don’t forget to wrap up warm, we wouldn’t want you missing the seasonal festivities!
