Entrance Hall
Where the new kids can be spotted with ease, and returning members are welcomed with open arms, the entrance hall is the center for anyone coming into the Academy. Other entrances are not known to the public, so a careful eye is always kept on this gateway. A large, elegant Venetian fountain stands in the center of the main hall, surrounded by a sweeping staircase on either side. Deep oak makes up the entirety of the rest of the fittings, along with richly-colored rugs, giving the hall an earthy, renaissance look.

Kitchen
The large kitchen is well-stocked with food, and the layout is simple to understand and with enough room to allow a handful of students to bustle around with ease. No alcoholic beverages will be found anywhere, as all cabinets and drawers are accessible to all of the students. Students are asked to handle the stove top, knives, and other sharp objects with care. If you are unsure of how to handle an object, please ask an adult.

Dining Hall
Tables are set about the area, some long and rectangular, others are short and round. Lights hang and illuminate the room with a smooth glow, while conversation rings freely, bouncing off the walls with ease. Whether you have a plateful of food or a simple red apple, a friend is surely to be there for you in the room.

The Den
Given a natural homey feel, this common area holds pool tables, video game consoles, televisions and multitudes of couches and chairs to relax and chat amongst friends. Tables and desk chairs are available for those that want to study in this sort of environment, or to bring a midday snack to while spending time with friends.

Grand Library
The renaissance feel of the school continues in this ancient structure with the oak walls of the grand library, holding more books than commonly imaginable. The lines of shelves and ladders to reach even the highest of shelves are available to each and every student. The check-put process for students and staff is a minimum of two weeks, with the ability to renew those books three more time. If you wish to take a book from the room, please see the librarian.

Industrial Garage
There is a large complex on the grounds not connected to the main building. This where all the vehicles of the faculty and students are stored. With permission of the headmistress, visitors' cars may be stored here as well. The smell of oil is heavy on the air and cables run along the ground as automobiles are being repaired and restored. Be care where you lean, as a car alarm or two may go off - those things can be pretty sensitive!

Stable House
Set out in the middle of a large field, the stable house is far from the mansion, though still close for a comfortable walking distance. The stables are open for the use of students and faculty, though they need to check-in with the headmistress prior to their first encounter with the striking animals. There are horses of many different kinds. A stench of hay and manure is thick in the air, but the nature of its location makes for a place of privacy and a great meeting place at night.

Revolution Academy has been up and running since September 2005. Our members are dedicated to telling a story rather than just engaging in drama and we pride ourselves on giving them an environment in which they can do so. We are an intermediate board and, as such, ask for 350 words minimum per IC post. Our main aim is to provide a fun place where people can work on and, hopefully, perfect the art of writing and are more than willing to help anyone who truly wishes to improve and become part of our game. All in all we are a friendly board with friendly members and helpful staff, so if this sounds like the sort of place for you, don’t hesitate to join up or drop us a line in the c-box.

When signing up please select a first and last name and use proper capitalisation. Anything that deviates from this will be deleted without notice.

Blood is being shed, and there’s no telling who will continue standing where they initially rose. Some will change sides after a revelation, while others will remain headfast and steady. The mutants had harbored no ill will toward human kind, though there are rumors that they will longer take the insults any longer. They once desired peace and harmony, where both races could be considered as equals.
Now they want revenge.

Nights are getting longer and the days are getting colder as New York finds itself hurled into the depths of WINTER. Forecasters as predicting a particularly cold one this year with more than its fair share of snow, rain, sleet and ice that brings with it the promise of a white Christmas. But don’t forget to wrap up warm, we wouldn’t want you missing the seasonal festivities!

It has to be said we’ve all been eagerly watching this pair of fuzzy blue folks wondering how they’re going to cope with each other presences at the academy... And whether anyone is going to complain about all the blue fur blocking the sinks. Great work so far guys, we can’t wait to see more!
