The IPMS (UK) website has been rewritten and updated and can be found here IPMS (UK)

The site contains membership information, directories of Branches, SIGs and Overseas bodies, Event listings and links to Scale ModelWorld traders and exhibitors. Also it is now possible to join and renew membership online.

Links to the old site will automatically redirect to the new.

There is a list of branches in the web pages.

Whilst on this topic, if there were enough people in the Mid Essex area that were interested it would be possible to form a branch.

thanks for that but im already a member of enough online communities....:D......i am already a member of a SIG thats online .....i need a 'real world' one......my prob is that the local branches to me (local as in still over 30 miles away) are quite inactive......the closest of those that are active is still over an hour and a halfs drive away.....not practical for me

I have the same problem, which is one of the reasons why we started up L & C. If you register with L & C you're more than welcome to join in with us at shows if you wanted to exhibit your stuff, there's no obligation to join IPMS or post on the board. It's still worth joining the society I'd suggest and if you could find another four like minded bods in your locality you could start your own branch.

OK. i am going to get my IPMS membership sorted at The farnbourgh show. The wait and see if there is any intrest in a mid essex branch.
