I have got a bit more done on the PE2 tonight. painted the 1st coat of HU30 and got the undercarriage assembled

I have got some more done on the PE. See for yourself. There is some touching up to be done. The prop needs an HU11 Tip over the orange and a few bits and bobs to be added. thanks for looking in

Got some more done on the PE2 added the final bits and bobs, a couple of coats of Klear. I may get the decals done tonight. As it is only 8 red stars :lol:

Two young kids in one day building models. WOW that is so cool.

I think that Whirlwind is going to be an interesting build. I look forward to seeing that one

PE2 has been Finished i will get some pics posted tomorrow
I have made a start on the whirlwind today. I had to do a bit of scratch work, as a part was missing. The bit that all the seats and center console fit to See below pic. It was harder than it looks

This sorta reminds me of my childhood. Its heartwarming to see the hobby being passed from father to son. Good looking lad you got there.

SWMBO Says she has no chance. Both my boys share my passion For Reading FC. Ben loves models and wants to go to duxford every other weekend. The youngest Josh likes planes and tanks and will build the mini kits with a lot of help. So i am as happy as a pig in the brown stuff :D Ben should Finish his meteor this weekend he keeps looking at His Red Arrow Hawk. Andy in Ben you may have a :tonka: fan. He likes planes that go fast

Ben has had no movement on his model he has not been very well today. I have masked it up for him so he can give it a coat of HU106

Thanks Gents well the whirlwind is almost done i have blacked the windows out. the plastic was thick and it just did not look right. Another coat of black on the glass and a couple coats of satin varnish and she is done

Nice progress on the Whirlwind and on the Meteor. That must be a later model Hobbyboss kit, where they actually give you something in the cockpit. I've done their Spitfire Vb and Graham did the Hellcat, and the cockpit tub is just that...!

Got some more done on the Zero. Main contruction done. A coat of hu64 on the underside and hu53 on the engine
