Well at this stage it's a case of decisions, decisions! So I'm going to have a think about what I'm going to retrieve from my stash for this GB tonight and I'll update this thread on Monday with some info and pics :D

I'm probably going to pick a car as it's been a long time since I built one and I fancy a change from military type subjects... but will it be the Dodge Viper, the Jaguar XJ220, or the Ferrari 250 GTO? :hmm:

If I go for the XJ220 I'm going to paint it in a metallic (almost pearlescent) green like the Jaguar F1 cars were when they existed. If I go for the Dodge Viper I am going to forgo the tired old blue with white stripes option and go for deep yellow and black stripes... or possibly the reverse of this option! Finally if I go for the GTO then I'm afraid to say I'll most likely be settling for Ferrari red as the GTO just doesn't really belong in any other colour in my opinion :D

I have both the Viper and the G.T.O. in the stash Drew,so will be interested either way in what you do.I have plans for the Ferrari though,it will be done as a 'breadvan' when I do it.

It was built in 1962 for racing,tbh I know little about it but like the shape of it.So my 250 will be built as this..

I'm afraid I've decided to leave the GTO for now as I am planning on building a little something of a diorama to go with it and don't really have that much extra time at the moment with my ATF GB on the go (and another starting in September) plus this RevellAtions one and then also the Airfix Bullfinches I'm building for my grandmother etc :lol: Then I have my life to fit in around this too! So I'm going for the slightly easier and less time consuming option of the Viper. Pics to follow.

Oh and I've decided to go with a yellow body and black stripes look on it :D

Why not mount the Bullfinches on the Viper's roof? :P :woo:

I'm hoping to start tonight by kicking off with spraying the shell of the car.

I've changed my mind though on the scheme and am going with a black body and yellow stripes instead :lol:

I'm just going to prime it, spray it yellow then mask out the stripes and spray over with black I think it probably the easiest way. The tricky bit will be masking the grilles ect...

Arni would NOT have the Bullfinches on the roof!! :slap:
