 SCP-513!, why was he removed?

I really want to know why they got rid of 513, I liked the bell and I think many others did to. Why was he removed from the game?

Well for one he was replaced with 372. and two he made it so that there would be no point to escaping. He would follow you until he either killed you or you committed suicide.

Well I get that, but I really liked it, it was one of the creepiest ones in it, well I hope they add one as freaky as 513... Cause the new one doesn't really creep me out, I'ts kinda funny to me how it flails around the place! xD

True, he does provide a more creepy scare, and he will be missed, but the absurdity of hearing the bell and only seeing him kinda killed the idea of the SCP. You're supposed to become really paranoid and eventually you'll be driven into insanity. I think the Doorman or the window hopper would be pretty cool as a similar creepy character.

The other reason is that its more canon by the fact 513 never killed you and in his paper it says he does.

Another reason I like the replacement SCP over the old 513 is because it means we could potentially be able to contain 372, which would help add to the plot.

But with 513 you can't contain it, when you hear the bell you are pretty much condemned to death, which would seem anti-climatic. Also being there is no way to anticipate when the bell is rung.

That bell-zombie-skeleton-thing scared me the most too. At least at the beginning. Maybe it should be in the game but appear really seldom.

And I know there are some bad things the document says about it even though the bell in the game did not harm anyone, but actually you can always edit documents a bit....... or the character. Maybe you should die when you crash into it.

He really didn't scare me at all after the first ring of it and seeing it. Also shouldn't this conversation be going on in the topic Regalis started somewhere or at least the version 2.1 change log??
